Registering to Vote in Maryland
Today is Maryland's deadline for registering to vote in the Nov. 2 election. Applications require an original signature and must arrive -- by hand or mail -- at the county Board of Elections or the state Board of Elections by 9 tonight.
Applications are available in English and Spanish at the boards of election, on the boards' Web sites and at the offices of various agencies, including the state health department, the Social Services Administration, the Motor Vehicle Administration and all colleges and universities.
