Annapolis Area

ROBBERIES

RIVA RD., 2600 block, 9:56 a.m. Oct. 5. A bank robbery was thwarted when two males, with covered faces and a bag, could not open a set of doors after entering through another set. They fled in a silver Dodge Intrepid driven by a third person.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CHESTNUT TREE DR., 800 block, 7 a.m. to 4:35 p.m. Sept. 28. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

COACHWAY, 800 block, 5:22 p.m. Oct. 1. Property was stolen from a residence entered through a rear window. A 15-year-old male was arrested.

NARRAGANSETT AVE., 3500 block, Sept. 24 to Sept. 28. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a side window.

RIDGELY AVE., 500 block, 1:04 a.m. Oct. 2. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear window.

Baltimore Area

ROBBERIES

RITCHIE HWY., 4000 block, 4:30 a.m. Oct. 5. A male walked behind the counter in a convenience store and showed a large knife to a clerk. The robber demanded money and put the knife against the clerk's throat as the clerk opened a cash register. The robber, who had a green teardrop tattoo under the corner of one eye, grabbed money from the register and fled. The clerk, who suffered a small cut on his throat and behind his ear, was treated at the scene.

Brooklyn Park Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CAREFREE DR., 5900 block, 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 29. Property was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a front glass door.

HAMMONDS LANE, 200 block, Oct. 2 to Oct. 3. Food was stolen from a business entered by forcing a window.

PANORAMA WAY, 300 block, 7:30 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. Sept. 30. Lawn equipment was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a

door.

RITCHIE HWY., 5600 block, 10:19 p.m. Oct. 5. A man with a knife robbed a convenience store of money. A short time later, a 24-year-old man was arrested on a nearby path and charged with robbery. The knife and cash were recovered.

WEST MEADOW RD., 100 block, 3 p.m. Sept. 29 to 5:30 p.m. Sept. 30. TVs and a VCR were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear glass door.

WEST MEADOW RD., 200 block, 9:30 a.m. Sept. 29. Clothing, cash and audio recordings were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a basement window.

FOURTH ST., 4100 block, 11 p.m. Sept. 27 to 8 a.m. Sept. 28. A residence was entered through a door. Nothing was reported missing.

CENTRAL AVE. W., 100 block, 11 p.m. Oct. 4. A gunman wearing a ski mask robbed a convenience store of cash.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

SOLOMONS ISLAND RD., 2600 block, 5 p.m. Sept. 25 to 5:30 a.m. Sept. 27. Drugs were stolen from a residence.

Glen Burnie Area

ROBBERIES

GLEN RIDGE CIR., 6900 block, 1:46 a.m. Oct. 5. A woman in an apartment put a kitchen knife to the throat of a 65-year-old male acquaintance, forced him onto a bed and demanded cash. When police arrived, she fled and was arrested. A 30-year-old Glen Burnie woman was charged with attempted armed robbery, first-degree and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and a weapons violation. She was also charged with assaulting another male in an earlier incident. No injuries were reported to the 65-year-old.

HERITAGE HILL DRIVE AND POLK CIRCLE, 3:12 p.m. Oct. 2. A male youth searched a male's pockets. When the male pushed the youth away, the youth punched him in the face, and a male accomplice punched the victim in the back of the head and knocked him down. The first youth took cash from the victim's pocket, and they ran away.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BALTIMORE ANNAPOLIS BOULEVARD AND SUMAC ROAD, 3:09 a.m. Sept. 28. A business was entered. There was no sign of forced entry. Six males, ages 16, 21, 17 and 20, were arrested.

COLONIAL KNOLL, 6400 block, 10:53 a.m. Sept. 30. A residence was entered by breaking a window. Nothing was reported missing. Two 19-year-old men were arrested.

COLONIAL KNOLL, 6400 block, 10:53 a.m. Sept. 30. A house was entered after a rock was thrown, breaking a front window. Police responding to report of a burglary in progress arrested a man at Heritage and Polk drives and arrested a second man found inside the house with several DVDs piled near a rear sliding glass door. A 19-year-old Glen Burnie man and a 20-year-old man of no fixed address were charged with burglary, destruction of property and theft.

HAMMARLEE RD., 1-100 block, 2:41 p.m. Oct. 1. Liquor was stolen from a residence entered through a window. A 40-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy were arrested.

HOSPITAL DR., 300 block, 1:47 a.m. Sept. 29. Cash and tobacco products were stolen from a business entered by breaking a front window. A 27-year-old man was arrested.

RITCHIE HWY. N., 7300 block, 9:30 p.m. Sept. 30 to 7 a.m. Oct. 1. A radio was stolen from a business entered by breaking a front window.

TURNBROOK DR., 7600 block, 12:30 to 9 a.m. Oct. 1. Property was stolen from a residence entered through a rear door. There was no sign of forced entry.

MARGANZA S., 200 block, 4:45 p.m. Oct. 1 to 12:55 p.m. Oct. 2. A motorcycle was stolen from a residence entered by cutting a door lock.

Lothian Area

ASSAULTS

BOONES MOBILE ESTATES, 10:48 a.m. Sept. 30. Police responding to a report of a stabbing discovered a 15-year-old girl with several stab wounds to her upper body. She was taken to a hospital. On Oct. 1, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department arrested a 20-year-old man in Charlotte, N.C., in connection with the stabbing. He was charged with attempted murder, attempted first-degree rape and first-degree assault.

ROUTE 4 AND LOWER PINDELL ROAD, 10 p.m. Oct. 6. After an argument in the Sands Road and Almas Way area, four males in a light blue or gray Subaru chased another vehicle. Shots were fired, and police found two wounded people in the second vehicle. They were taken to a hospital.

BAY FRONT RD. W., 200 block, Sept. 25 to Sept. 28. Tools and lawn equipment were stolen from a residence entered through a door. There was no sign of forced entry.

MOUNT ZION MARLBORO RD., 700 block, 10:11 a.m. Sept. 29. Tools were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked side window.

Pasadena Area

ASSAULTS

TOWER BRIDGE DR., 8000 block, Oct. 6. Police responded to a call about a man firing a gun toward two people. No injuries were reported. A 20-year-old Pasadena man was arrested behind a residence and charged with two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault, two counts of reckless endangerment and two counts of carrying a deadly weapon with the intent to injure.

FORT SMALLWOOD RD., 8500 block, 1:42 a.m. Sept. 28. Tobacco products were stolen from a business entered by breaking a window.

FORT SMALLWOOD RD., 8500 block, 12:01 to 5:40 a.m. September. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a window.

GARDEN RD., 8400 block, 10:30 a.m. Oct. 3. Audio recordings, tools and video games and equipment were stolen from a residence.

LORENE DR., 1200 block, 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Sept. 29. Antiques, a bicycle, a camera, jewelry and audio recordings were stolen from a residence entered through a rear door.

MOUNTAIN RD., 4400 block, 7 p.m. Sept. 27 to 9:40 a.m. Sept. 28. A safe was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

SHARON DR., 300 block, Oct. 1. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a side window.

COATSBRIDGE CT., 8200 block, 11 a.m. Sept. 29. Liquor and audio recordings were stolen from a residence entered through a door. There was no sign of forced entry. A 12-year-old boy and two 14-year-old boys were arrested.

ASSAULTS

BOWMAN CT., 1800 block, 6:23 p.m. Oct. 1. An aggravated assault occurred.

MARCS CT., 1-100 block, 9:21 p.m. Sept. 23. Police responded to a report of shots being fired and found shell casings and damaged vehicles. A short time later, a local hospital reported that a 33-year-old Severn man was admitted with a gunshot wound in the back. The man allegedly had been shot by a stranger for unidentified reason. Police were searching for two men, ages 24 and 25.

CAPITAL DR., 2000 block, 2 to 3 p.m. Oct. 1. A Samsung flip cell phone was stolen from a vehicle.

DUKE OF GLOUCESTER ST., 100 block, noon to 1 p.m. Oct. 1. Cash and credit cards were stolen from a building.

EDGEWOOD RD., 7400 block, Sept. 30 to Oct. 1. Two Maryland tags were stolen from a vehicle.

HILLTOP LANE, 200 block, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 29. Cash was stolen from a residence.

STATE CIR., 1-100 block, 2 p.m. Sept. 28 to 10 a.m. Sept. 29. CDs and a checkbook were stolen from a vehicle.

TYLER AVE., 1100 block, 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 3. Prescription drugs were stolen from a residence.

WEST ST., 1-100 block, 4 a.m. Oct. 2. Cash was stolen from a residence. An arrest was made.

WEST ST., 2000 block, 11:20 p.m. Oct. 2. Gas was stolen from a business.
