Celebration of Freedom
The Festival of Freedom features activities at two locations. A USO dance and show will include performances by the Liberty Belles and the Swing Shift Dance Band, 5:30-9 p.m. Saturday, Loy E. 'The Rat Pack'
Step back in time to the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas for an evening of music by Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop performed by the First-Light Band and the Michael Girdy Band. Food, door prizes, dancing, caricature artists and a casino will round out this fundraiser, sponsored by the Prince William Public Library System Foundation, to benefit the Viva Van, an outreach project bringing books and library service to the Hispanic community. 7 p.m.-midnight Saturday. Marching Bands Compete
Woodbridge Senior High School hosts the Woodbridge Viking Invitational marching band festival.
