The Baltimore/Washington Chamber of Commerce will host Mary Anne Wampler of Transform Inc., as she speaks on "The Enneagram Advantage: A Tool for Bringing Passion and Prosperity Into Your Life and Work," from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Friday. On Maryland Tourism
The Maryland Office of Tourism Development (OTD), the Department of Business and Economic Development and the Maryland Tourism Council Inc. are hosting the 24th annual Maryland Governor's Tourism Industry Conference on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at the University of Maryland University College Inn and Conference Center.
More than 400 tourism and hospitality professionals from Maryland and neighboring states will gather to discuss this year's theme, "The Tapestry of Maryland Tourism."
This meeting will include an update on some of the state's new tourism initiatives and plans for 2005, a tourism forecast and the annual industry banquet that honors outstanding tourism industry professionals and exceptional marketing campaigns.

Set for Tuesday
The Baltimore/Washington Chamber of Commerce will hold its 13th annual Baltimore/Washington Area Government Procurement Fair from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday. More than 75 procurement and purchasing officials from federal, state and local government agencies will be on hand to discuss what they are interested in buying. The event will be held in the Carriage Room at the Laurel Park Race Course, Fort Meade Road (Route 198), Laurel. Tickets are $55 for members, $45 if prepaid.
