Neil Simon Comedy

In the Neil Simon comedy "Last of the Red Hot Lovers," Barney Cashman, 47, has been married 23 years and thinks it's about time he had an affair. As presented by the Chesapeake Bay Floating Theatre at its Black Box Theatre, the production's intimate setting allows the audience to feel close to Cashman's angst as he fumbles his way through three attempts at a cure for his midlife crisis. This is very much an adult comedy -- there are adult language, sex, drugs, smoking and alcohol references. And the play is filled with great one-liners and wonderfully portrayed characters. "Last of the Red Hot Lovers" leaves the audience relieved at its final -- and decent -- outcome. 8 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday and Oct. 22 and 23, and 3 p.m. Sunday and Oct. 24. Reservations recommended. Adults, $15; seniors and students, $12. Black Box Theatre at the Indian Head Center for the Arts, 4185 Indian Head Hwy., Indian Head. 301-743-3040.
