ROBBERIES

ASCOT CT., 5500 block, 12:55 a.m. Oct. 13. A cabdriver, 27, picked up a male passenger at the Van Dorn Metro station and drove him to Ascot Court. When the cab stopped, the passenger showed a handgun, forced the driver to get out and took his keys, wallet and cell phone. Another man approached and watched the robbery. The robber and the other man then fled on foot. No injuries were reported.

KING ST., 3300 block, 4:25 p.m. Oct. 13. Two male youths, 14 and 17, were approached by five people at a park, one of whom took a laptop computer and a hat from them. One member of the group fled on foot, and the others -- two juveniles and two adults -- left in a vehicle, which police stopped. After questioning the occupants, police arrested a Fort Washington man, 20, and charged him with robbery. The other three were released. The computer was recovered. The case was under investigation.

MOUNT VERNON AVE., 3900 block, 11:20 p.m. Oct. 8. Two men entered a business and one showed a handgun and demanded money. The other man took money from a cash drawer. The first robber then took a store manager's cell phone before they both fled on foot.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ALFRED ST. N., 200 block, 3:50 a.m. A house guest awoke hearing noise and discovered a man standing near stairs. The intruder left through the front door. Police unsuccessfully searched the area. It was later discovered that the intruder had taken a digital camera, money, a purse, credit cards and jewelry.

COMMONWEALTH AVE., 1900 block, 5 p.m. Oct. 1 to 7:41 a.m. Oct. 8. Jewelry and silverware were stolen from a residence.

EDSALL RD., 5800 block, 11 p.m. Oct. 8 to 5:30 a.m. Oct. 11. Power tools were stolen from a business entered by forcing a rear glass door.

KING ST., 4700 block, 2:45 to 3 a.m. Oct. 14. A business was entered by forcing the front door.

MORGAN ST. N., 5500 block, 12:30 to 6 p.m. Electronic games were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a window.

SLATERS LANE, 800 block, 2:30 to 10 a.m. Sept. 26. Money was stolen from a business.

BEAUREGARD ST. N., 2200 block, 10 p.m. Oct. 11 to 10 a.m. Oct. 12. A gray 1998 Nissan Sentra was stolen.

EDSALL RD., 5800 block, 10 a.m. Oct. 1 to 3 p.m. Oct. 11. A gray 2002 Nissan Maxima was stolen.

FILLMORE AVE., 5100 block, 9 p.m. Oct. 8 to 9 a.m. Oct. 9. A blue 1994 Honda Accord was stolen.

KING ST., 3400 block, 6:31 p.m. Oct. 4 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 6. A black 1998 Lexus ES300 was stolen.

KING ST., 3400 block, 3 to 3:05 p.m. Oct. 11. A white 1993 Izuzu Trooper was stolen.

MARIS AVENUE AND VAN DORN STREET N., 11:40 p.m. Oct. 6 to 6:25 a.m. Oct. 7. A green 1991 Jaguar was stolen.

MILAN DR., 3800 block, 2:40 a.m. Oct. 10. A gray 1995 Honda Civic was stolen.

PARK CENTER DR., 3000 block, 9 a.m. Oct. 6 to 9 a.m. Oct. 9. A silver and black 2003 Yamaha motorcycle was stolen.

PICKETT ST. S., 600 block, noon Oct. 10 to 7 a.m. Oct. 11. A gray 1979 Ford pickup was stolen.

RALEIGH AVE., 4400 block, 9 a.m. Oct. 6 to 9:11 a.m. Oct. 9. A black 1997 Honda Civic was stolen.

SEMINARY RD., 5000 block, 11 p.m. Oct. 11 to 9 a.m. Oct. 12. A blue 2003 Mitsubishi Montero was stolen.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

GLEBE RD. N., 600 block, 4:22 p.m. Oct. 11. A woman, 46, was shopping in a grocery store when a man ran up to her and grabbed her crotch. He then fled.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

ADAMS ST., 1800 block, 8:40 p.m. Oct. 8. A man ran past a female pedestrian, 31, exposed himself and continued running. A short time later, the man exposed himself to a woman, 23, who was getting into her vehicle in the 1800 block of Key Boulevard.

ROBBERIES

ARMY NAVY DR., 900 block, 8:14 p.m. Oct. 8. A man entered a grocery store and concealed merchandise in his bag. When a store security officer tried to stop him, the man showed a knife and threatened the officer. The man left and was approached by Arlington police, who arrested him. A man, 33, of no fixed address, was charged with armed robbery and shoplifting.

JACKSON ST. S., 200 block, 1:45 a.m. Oct. 8. After a cabdriver, 36, arrived at a destination, two male passengers robbed him of money at gunpoint, then fled on foot.

JEFFERSON ST. S., 1000 block, 11:15 p.m. Oct. 7. A man snatched a purse from a female pedestrian, 42, and fled. A Fairfax County police officer in the area stopped a man matching the description given by the victim. A Falls Church man, 19, was arrested and charged with robbery.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

COLUMBIA PIKE, 5500 block, noon to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 6. Cash was stolen from an apartment.

GLEBE RD. S., 1-100 block, 2:39 a.m. Oct. 11. A building was entered through a window.

PERSHING DR. N., 2200 block, 11:11 p.m. Oct. 10. Several cases of beer were knocked over in a store. Nothing was reported missing.

13TH RD. S., 1500 block, 4:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. An attempt was made to enter a residence by prying the front door.

19TH ST. S., 9 p.m. Oct. 9. A man attempted to use a ladder to enter a residence. A resident saw the intruder, who fled.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

ARLINGTON BLVD., 2800 block. A green 2003 Kawasaki motorcycle was stolen.

EADS ST. S., 1600 block. A maroon 2000 Chrysler Grand Voyager was stolen.

JEFFERSON ST. S., 1000 block. A white 1987 Toyota Camry was stolen.

SOUTH FOUR MILE RUN DR., 4200 block. A golf 1986 Toyota van was stolen.

SOUTH FOUR MILE RUN DR., 4400 block. A red 1993 Ford Escort was stolen.

UHLE ST. S., 2600 block. A black 1996 Nissan pickup was stolen.

VERMONT ST. N., 2000 block. A white 2003 Dodge Neon was stolen.
