THEFTS/BREAK-INS

DORSEY DR., 100 block, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 4. Cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

LOG INN RD., 1400 block, 4:20 to 4:27 a.m. Oct. 7. A purse was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked front door.

Arnold Area

ASSAULTS

RITCHIE HIGHWAY AND ARNOLD ROAD, 11:49 a.m. Oct. 13. The driver of a green BMW with a dark tinted tag cover over the rear license plate changed lanes, forcing a motorcyclist out of the left lane and onto the median. The motorcycle overturned and the driver was injured. Police were investigating this as a road rage incident.

BAYBERRY DR., 900 block, 12:01 to 8 a.m. Oct. 2. A bicycle was stolen from a residence.

MILL CREEK RD., 700 block, 5 p.m. Oct. 6 to 8:05 a.m. Oct. 7. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by throwing an object through the front door.

VOLLEY CT., 300 block, 9 a.m. to 9:56 p.m. Oct. 4. Property was stolen from a residence entered through a basement door. There was no sign of forced entry.

Brooklyn Park Area

ASSAULTS

FIRST STREET, Oct. 9. Detectives, investigating a report of unusual activity, stopped three male pedestrians. After police took a knife from one man, he ran. Police arrested the man after he allegedly assaulted a detective. A 20-year-old Baltimore man was charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon, second-degree assault of a police officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, obstruction, hindering a police officer, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. Police reportedly recovered a bag of marijuana and a marijuana cigarette.

CHURCH ST., 700 block, 4:08 to 4:12 a.m. Oct. 7. A business was entered by forcing a rear door. Nothing was reported missing.

RITCHIE HWY. N., 5500 block, 4:57 a.m. Oct. 6. A business was entered by breaking a front window. Nothing was reported missing.

RITCHIE HWY. N., 5600 block, 10:19 p.m. Oct. 5. Cash was stolen from a business entered through a front door.

Glen Burnie Area

ROBBERIES

EDGERLY RD., 900 block, 9:37 p.m. Oct. 12. A male wearing a black ski mask approached a woman from behind as she was unlocking her van in a parking lot of a store. He reached around and grabbed her by the front of her shirt and demanded money. The woman pushed her knee against the man's groin and tried to get into her van. The man then grabbed her shoulder, and she scratched his face with her vehicle keys. He fled on foot, and she drove home and called police.

NOLPARK CT., 7900 block, 10:14 p.m. Oct. 9. A woman entering an apartment building was accosted at gunpoint when a male jumped out from an area behind stairs. The man said something, but she was unable to understand. She screamed and banged on a neighbor's door, and the gunman fled.

RAPID WATER WAY, 6700 block, 7 a.m. Oct. 7. Two males wearing a Halloween mask and a ski mask forced their way into a ground-level apartment, tied residents' hands and feet together with duct tape and removed jewelry, cash and a motorcycle.

RITCHIE HWY., 5700 block, 12:18 p.m. Oct. 9. A woman wearing a red wig and a black hat handed a teller a note in a bank and took cash.

CONSTITUTION CT., 300 block, Oct. 5 to Oct. 6. A residence was entered through a front window. Nothing was reported missing.

GREEN ORCHARD RD., 8000 block, 4:45 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. Oct. 6. A residence was entered through an unlocked window. Nothing was reported missing.

HERITAGE HILL DR., 6400 block, 9:10 a.m. Oct. 6. Property was stolen from a business. A 24-year-old man was arrested.

HIGHLAND DR., 300 block, 3 p.m. Oct. 4 to 3:35 p.m. Oct. 5. Jewelry was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

POLK CIR., 6400 block, 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 30. Audio recordings were stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

FORT MEADE RD., 3400 block, 7:43 p.m. Oct. 7. A male jumped out of a hotel window after he was attacked by another male whom he had invited to his room. The assailant stopped the male in a parking lot and robbed him of cash. The victim was taken to a hospital.
