HIGHLIGHTS: Melanie Mocniak's unassisted goal late in the game gave the Bulldogs the come-from-behind tie. The Eagles had previously been unbeaten and untied. Tyler King had eight saves in goal. Alyssa Brummitt, Michael Wilde, Leckie Gassman, Conner Toomey, Robert Jaseph, Danny Usewick, Greg Caple, Jared Lamb and Patrick Martensson played well.

HIGHLIGHTS: The Bulldogs (4-7) ended their six-game losing streak. Taylor Brummitt (2) and Matt Shovestul scored for the Bulldogs. Emily Stroetzel and Chloe Constants had assists. Goalie Sean Grammick had six saves. Brett Hutchison was outstanding on defense, Sophie Gassman was strong in the middle and Hayley Richter led the front line.

HIGHLIGHTS: Despite having only 10 players, the Bulldogs (7-2-1) avenged an early season loss. Melanie Mocniak (2) and Alyssa Brummitt scored. Mocniak, Brummitt and Danny Usewick had assists as the Bulldogs recorded their sixth shutout of the season.

HIGHLIGHTS: JR Spencer scored for the Shellbacks off a Matt Disher assist. Michael Bell had two saves in goal. Stephen Guth, Sean Sheehy and Kevin Carr also played well.

Running

The 16th Annual 5K Turkey Trot will be held at noon Nov. 24 at Anne Arundel Community College's Siegert Field, at 101 College Parkway in Arnold.

First-place finishers in all categories win a free turkey. Second-place finishers win apple pies.

Two categories carry only first-place prizes: fastest individual under age 15 and fastest AACC faculty/staff doubles team. Other categories include individual fastest time, male and female; combined fastest time, doubles team; individual predicted time, male and female; and combined predicted time, doubles team.

Fees for entries postmarked by Nov. 17 are $16 for individuals and $25 for doubles teams, with students paying $12 for individuals and $18 for teams. Fees increase to $18 for individuals and $30 for doubles teams for entries postmarked after Nov. 17. There is a $7 fee for the fun run.

Entry forms are available in Jenkins Gymnasium Room 213 and the equipment checkout area, at the front desk of the Olson Pool and at the information desk in the Student Services Center. Forms also will be available from Turkey Trot sponsors and online at http://ola3.aacc.edu/kmstanton/.
