ADAMS RIDGE RD., 5500 block, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 8. A purse was stolen from a vehicle inside an unlocked residential garage.

OLD HOPKINS RD., 11200 block, 6:10 a.m. Oct. 9 to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 12. Cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered through a front door.

PERFECT CALM CT., 5900 block, Sept. 29 to Oct. 7. A rear window screen was removed from a window at a residence. Nothing was reported stolen.

Columbia Area

ROBBERIES

CLOUDLEAP CT., 8700 block, 4:50 to 5:05 p.m. Oct. 9. Two boys on a footpath behind a high school punched the male cyclist in the mouth, forced him off the bicycle and took the bicycle.

KILIMANJARO RD., 9400 block, 4:21 p.m. Oct. 7. A female said she was from a local hospital and an elderly man let her inside a residence. Once inside the female pulled a handgun and robbed the man of cash.

LITTLE PATUXENT PKWY., 10300 block, 6:30 p.m. Oct. 9. Three people in a shopping mall argued with a male and followed him to the mall's parking lot. The male was grabbed, forced to the ground and robbed of a wallet containing cash.

MURRAY HILL RD., 7600 block, 1:45 p.m. Oct. 12. A male in a convenience store jumped over a counter, pointed a silver handgun at a clerk and demanded cash. The clerk complied.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CLOCKTOWER LANE, 9700 block, 4:42 p.m. Oct. 11. A window at a residence was found broken. Nothing was reported stolen.

EARLY GLOW LANE, 6300 block, noon Sept. 25 to noon Oct. 6. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a deadbolt lock.

FORTNIGHT CT., 6600 block, 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Oct. 7. Cash was stolen from a residence.

GREEN MOUNTAIN CIR., 5000 block, 1 to 8:30 a.m. Oct. 10. A white 1997 Nissan 200 SE was stolen.

HIGH BEAM CT., 10600 block, 7:30-9:30 a.m. Oct. 8. A shotgun and ammunition were stolen from a residence.

SLALOM LANE, 11100 block, 9:45 p.m. Oct. 5 to noon Oct. 6. A safe was stolen from a residence.

TWIN KNOLLS RD., 5400 block, 10:30 a.m. Oct. 2 to 2 p.m. Oct. 10. A laptop computer was stolen from a hotel room entered by forcing a door lock.

WOODSIDE CT., 6300 block, overnight Oct. 6 to Oct. 7. Cash and laptop computers were stolen from two offices entered by cutting a hole through the interior drywall in a building entered by smashing a brick through a side exterior glass door.

EARLY APRIL WAY, 9000 block, 8:51 a.m. Oct. 6. A gold 1992 Dodge Caravan was stolen.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 6300 block, 2:25 a.m. Oct. 11. A man entered a gas station, purchased a beverage, then reached over a counter and grabbed an open register. The man demanded cash from the clerk. The clerk complied. The man fled with cash and entered an SUV.

HOOKS LANE, 6100 block, 5 p.m. Oct. 7 to 10:45 a.m. Oct. 9. An outboard motor and a leaf-blower were stolen from a backyard shed entered by force.

KIT KAT RD., 7000 block, 5 p.m. Oct. 8 to 7 a.m. Oct. 12. An attempt was made to enter a business by forcing a side door with tools stolen from vehicles on the lot.

OLD WASHINGTON RD., 6100 block, 5:54 p.m. Oct. 7. Tools and lawn equipment were stolen from a detached residential garage.

BALTIMORE NATIONAL PIKE, 10000 block, 8 p.m. Oct. 6 to 7 a.m. Oct. 7. Cash from a candy display was stolen from business entered through a back door.

BALTIMORE NATIONAL PIKE, 10100 block, 11:46 to 11:51 p.m. Oct. 8. A side glass door at a convenience store was broken. Nothing was reported stolen.

CROMWELL CT., 10300 block, 2:30 p.m. Oct. 9. A basement rear window screen at a residence was cut and the window was forced. Nothing was reported stolen.

DEERFIELD DR., 2800 block, Oct. 8. A laundry room door at a residence was found door kicked in.

FURROW AVE., 9200 block, 5:45 p.m. Oct. 6. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a deadbolt lock.

MORNINGVIEW CT., 3600 block, 3:30 p.m. Oct. 7 to 5 p.m. Oct. 11. Jewelry and DVDs were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear bedroom window and shattering the glass.

WHEATFIELD WAY, 9600 block, 11:45 a.m. Oct. 6. A male was seen loading TVs from a residence into a van. The residence's owner was called at work and notified. The residence had been entered by forcing a front basement window.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 7900 block, 7:35 a.m. Oct. 8. A man put his arm around the neck of a person standing near a vehicle, forced the person to the ground and took car keys. The assailant drove off with the vehicle, a 2002 black Honda CRV.

GUILFORD RD., 9900 block, 12:45 to 4 p.m. Oct. 7. A DVD player was stolen from an apartment.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 8100 block, 5:30 p.m. Oct. 11 to 7:30 a.m. Oct. 12. A business was entered by kicking a door. Nothing was reported stolen.
