Weekly Leaf Collection
Begins in Laurel
Laurel's Department of Public Works has started weekly leaf collections. Residents should refer to their leaf collection schedules to learn when leaves will be picked up.
On the day before their scheduled pickup, residents should rake or carry leaves to the street but not block storm drains. Collection crews are not permitted to pick up leaves on private property or in alleys.
All cans, bottles, sticks and other debris should be removed from piles. Parked cars should be moved from the path of the leaf collection truck.
No collections will be made Nov. 11 (Veterans Day), Nov. 25 (Thanksgiving) or Nov. 26.
