Colesville Meals On Wheels needs volunteers to deliver meals to the homebound in Burnt Mills, White Oak, Colesville, Calverton and surrounding areas. The Montgomery County Volunteer Center needs volunteer trainers who are 55 or older for a Bone Builders program designed to reduce osteoporosis and protect against fractures. A one-day workshop is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. next Thursday at Holy Cross Resource Center, 9805 Dameron Dr., Silver Spring. Montgomery County Board of Elections seeks Spanish-speaking people to serve as election judges at polling places Nov. 2. Volunteers must be U.S. citizens at least 18 years old and able to speak, read and write English. Training is provided, and volunteers will be compensated for training and working Election Day.
