DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY
BRISTOL DR., 1:02 p.m. Oct. 10. A mailbox post was damaged at a residence.
ROUTE 2/4, 11 a.m. Oct. 11. Two street signs were stolen from the Apple Green subdivision.
LUSBY, Oct. 20. A girl, 17, was arrested in connection with the death of a 14-week-old boy Aug. 28. She was charged with second-degree murder and first-degree child abuse.

CRAIN HWY., 10000 block, noon to 2 p.m. Oct. 16. Two pressure washers were stolen from Gardiner Equipment.
VALYN DR., 6300 block, 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 7. A dirt bike was stolen from a garage at a residence. Two boys, 11 and 15, were charged with first-degree burglary, unauthorized use of a stolen vehicle, theft of less than $500 and destruction of property.
La Plata Area
RIPLEY PARK DR., 5900 block, Sept. 27. Two men, both 30, were arrested on allegations that they operated a motorcycle chop shop. Four stolen motorcycles were either repainted or being repainted. Authorities seized the motorcycles and stored them at Gilroy's Towing in White Plains. One of the men is accused of then stealing the motorcycles from Gilroy's. Both men were charged with four counts of theft greater than $500, conspiracy to commit theft of more than $500, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and unauthorized use of motor vehicle. The man accused of taking the motorcycles from Gilroy's was charged with four additional counts of theft of more than $500.
Indian Head Area
RIVERWATCH LANE, 5:30 p.m. Oct. 14. A boy, 17, was pushed to the ground and assaulted with a screwdriver.
PORT TOBACCO RD., 3500 block, 1:45 a.m. Oct. 15. A woman, 44, was assaulted at a residence. A man, 43, was charged with second-degree assault.
COUNCIL OAK DR., 12500 block, 10:10 p.m. Oct. 13. Two people stole cash from a pizza delivery person and fled.
CRAIN HWY., 3300 block, 5:30 p.m. Oct. 20. A man concealed merchandise under his coat at Radio Shack. When an employee attempted to stop him from leaving the store, he implied he had a gun and fled.
LEONARDTOWN RD., 3800 block, 8:46 p.m. Oct. 18. Two armed robbers stole cash from the St. Charles Shell gas station.
MATTAWOMAN DR., 12500 block, 7:20 p.m. Oct. 15. Two robbers entered Checks Cashed and stole money and a gun from a customer. A man, 57, was shot, and a woman, 50, was assaulted before the robbers fled.
POST OFFICE RD., 5:30 p.m. Oct. 14. A man with a gun robbed a man, 43, of cash. He had given the robber a ride in his vehicle.
SMALLWOOD DR., 300 block, 10:29 p.m. Oct. 15. Domino's Pizza was robbed at gunpoint.
NORTHGATE PL., 3900 block, 4:54 p.m. Oct. 20. Property was stolen from a residence.
PIKE DR., 11800 block, 10:52 a.m. Sept. 28. An employee of United Parcel Service is accused of attempting to steal a handgun from a package at UPS. The man, 19, was charged with three counts of theft of more than $500 and one count of attempted theft of more than $500 and theft scheme greater than $500.
White Plains Area
CRAIN HWY., 4600 block, 2:45 a.m. Oct. 17. Three men assaulted a man, 34. They took his wallet and fled.
CRAIN HWY., 4500 block, 7:40 to 11 p.m. Oct. 17. Cash was stolen and three vending machines were damaged at the Charles County Health Department.
THEODORE GREEN BLVD., 10000 block, 10:45 a.m. Oct. 17 to 8:30 a.m. Oct. 18. Someone forced entry into a Jazzercise studio.
St. Mary's County

SARA CT., 7:35 a.m. Oct.19. A man, 45, and a woman, 42, assaulted each other at a residence. Each was charged with second-degree assault.
ROUTE 235, 1:10 a.m. Oct. 10. A motorcycle and property were stolen from a residence. Three men, ages 34, 36 and 43, were charged with theft of more than $500.
Lexington Park Area
WILLIAMS DR., 3:20 p.m. Oct. 14. A youth, 12, was assaulted after getting off a school bus. A youth, 13, was charged with second-degree assault.
