RIVER RIDGE TER., 20000 block, 9:30 p.m. Oct. 13 to 7:45 a.m. Oct. 14. A CD player was stolen from a vehicle entered by damaging a window.
CEDAR WALK CIR. NE, 100 block, 3:21 p.m. Oct. 14. An assault at a residence was reported to police. A window was broken during the incident.
DRY MILL RD. SW, 400 block, 11:31 a.m. Oct. 15. An assault at a school was seen by police.
EDWARDS FERRY RD. NE, 800 block, 12:54 p.m. Oct. 14. Police responded to an assault at a residence.
EVANS RIDGE TER. NE, 400 block, 10:30 p.m. Oct. 17. Two men reportedly assaulted a man and fled.
HERITAGE WAY NE, 1 to 100 block, 2:09 p.m. Oct. 19. An assault was reported to police.
WASHINGTON ST. NE, 100 block, 8:29 p.m. Oct. 14. An assault was reported to police. Two handguns were found by police concealed on one of the people involved in the assault. No arrests were reported.
ALPINE DR. SE, 100 block, 11:05 a.m. Oct. 13. Three chandeliers and pieces of trim for recessed lighting were stolen from a house under construction.
CATOCTIN CIR. SW, 1 to 100 block, 9:09 p.m. Oct. 15. A cell phone was stolen from a vehicle.
DAVIS AVE. SW, 1 to 100 block, 7:57 p.m. Oct. 19. A passport and a work permit were stolen from a residence.
EDWARDS FERRY RD. NE, 900 block, 6:51 p.m. Oct. 18. Shoplifting at a business was reported to police.
EDWARDS FERRY ROAD AND BATTLEFIELD PARKWAY NE, 6:29 p.m. Oct. 13. Construction materials were stolen. A suspect was detained at the scene, and some items were recovered.
EVERGREEN MILL RD. SE, 500 block, 1:30 p.m. Oct. 15. A wallet was turned in at an office at a school after a student dropped it in a hallway. Cash and a bank card were missing.
HARRISON ST. SE, 200 block, 3:28 p.m. Oct. 16. Two people ordered food at a restaurant and left without paying.
KING ST. S., 200 block, 6 p.m. Oct. 14. A Virginia license plate was stolen from a vehicle.
KING ST. S., 400 block, 9:45 a.m. Oct. 15. Two campaign signs were stolen from a front yard at a residence.

CAMERON ST., 200 block, 12:30 a.m. Oct. 20. A CD player was stolen from a vehicle.
SUGARLAND SQUARE CT., 1 to 100 block, 1:47 a.m. Oct. 15. Power tools were stolen from a residence.

EMORY DR., 100 block, 7:35 to 7:40 a.m. Oct. 14. A red 1991 Toyota Tercel was stolen. The vehicle had been left running by the owner.
SUGARLAND SQUARE CT., 1 to 100 block, 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 18. A house for sale was entered by forcing a front door, and walls were painted with graffiti.
