FAIRFAX STARS TRYOUTS: The Fairfax Stars' eighth-grade team will hold tryouts on Nov. 4 and 9 at Washington Irving Middle School in Springfield from 7:15-8:45 p.m. This team will compete in the Junior Division of the Beltway League during the 2004-2005 season and play in select holiday tournaments for AAU teams. COACHES NEEDED: Langley High is seeking three coaches of varying degrees of coaching experience. Former collegiate rowers are encouraged to apply. Langley Crew is an established and growing program entering its 12th season with more than 80 rowers.
