10TH ST., 2500 block, 11:50 p.m. Oct. 7. Curtis Murphy, 22, of the 13000 block of Hillendale Drive, Dale City, Va., was found in a building lobby with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Howard University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

51ST ST., 4 to 6 a.m. Oct. 13. A sexual assault occurred in a residence.

LINCOLN AND FRANKLIN STREETS, 11 p.m. Oct. 8. Two males got out of a vehicle, assaulted a male pedestrian and robbed him of jewelry and a wallet containing cash and documents.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE., 1-99 block, 11:26 to 11:27 a.m. Oct. 9. A male demanded cash from an employee in a store. The employee refused and attempted to flee. No further information was provided by police.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE., 1-99 block, 11:30 a.m. to noon Oct. 3. Property was stolen from the purse of a female eating lunch at a train terminal.

MICHIGAN AVE., 400 block, 2:30 p.m. Oct. 12. A male snatched property from a restaurant.

NEW YORK AVE., 1-99 block, 9:35 to 10 a.m. Oct. 5. A robbery occurred.

NORTH CAPITOL AND M STREETS, 1:55 a.m. Oct. 9. Two males assaulted three pedestrians and robbed them of property.

OKIE ST., 1400 block, 9:50 p.m. Oct. 8. A gunman robbed a male pedestrian of cash and a cell phone.

QUARLES ST., 4500 block, 4 a.m. Oct. 12. A gunman fired shots into a vehicle occupied by two people. The assailant and three accomplices robbed the occupants of keys, a cell phone and a jacket. No injuries were reported.

SARGENT RD., 4900 block, 2:40 a.m. Oct. 9. A gunman assaulted a male pedestrian and robbed him of a wallet. The assailant fled with a male accomplice.

SUMMIT CT., 3400 block, 9:05 p.m. Oct. 11. A gunman forced a male pedestrian to the ground and robbed him of keys, a cell phone and a wallet containing cash and credit cards.

SUMMIT CT , 3400 block, 11:40 p.m. Oct. 10. A gunman demanded cash from a male pedestrian. A struggle ensued, and the assailant fled.

14TH AND W STREETS, 1:25 a.m. Oct. 10. Pierre Johnson, 22, of the 300 block of V Street NE, was found on a sidewalk with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the D.C. Medical Examiner's Office, where he was pronounced dead.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

M ST., 3000 block, 1 a.m. July 22 to 1 a.m. July 30. A male was involved in a sexual assault on a street. No further information was provided by police.

COLUMBIA RD., 1400 block, 12:50 a.m. Oct. 10. A man forced a person against a wall in an apartment stairwell and took a gold necklace.

FORT STEVENS DR., 1400 block, 10 p.m. Oct. 1. A male driver picked up a passenger, then punched the passenger in the face and took a cell phone, credit cards and a watch before pushing the passenger out of the car.

GEORGIA AVE., 4900 block, 10:30 a.m. Oct. 13. A man was involved in a robbery at a liquor store. No further information was provided by police.

SIXTH ST., 2400 block, 9 to 9:05 p.m. Oct. 8. A gunman demanded property from a male at a college. The male ran, and the robber threw the gun, hitting him in the head. The robber then fled.

14TH ST. AND LUZON AVE., 10:30 to 10:32 p.m. Oct. 7. A gunman entered a car through a passenger door and robbed the driver of two bank cards, a credit card and a wallet, and fled with two other males.

15TH ST., 700 block, 12:15 p.m. Oct. 9. A man robbed a specialty store, emptying a cash register and telling an employee to lie down. No further information was provided by police.

HOWISON PL., 1200 block, 1:25 a.m. Oct. 11. A man broke into a home. A female resident heard him in a front bedroom and saw him walk down a hall toward her room. The intruder saw another man in her bedroom and said, "At least now I know."

I ST., 500 block, 7 p.m. Oct. 10 to 9:20 a.m. Oct. 12. Property was taken from a college entered through a window.

SECOND ST., 4000 block, 3 p.m. Oct. 8. Three males entered a home by forcing a front door. A computer, a TV, a DVD-VCR player, 15 games, a video-game system, DVDs, two diamond rings and an engagement ring were taken.
