What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"How we manage and control growth while at the same time maintaining our small-town atmosphere. The challenges include traffic, our environment, recreational amenities, our quality of life in our neighborhoods and finding solutions that are fiscally affordable. Our stewardship of the Chesapeake Bay must include the reversal of wastewater (stopping nitrogen and phosphorous) from being put into the bay. Land application through drip irrigation would greatly improve the water quality of the Chesapeake Bay. We would be the first community on the bay to do so. It requires leadership and the political will necessary to accomplish."

Why should voters elect you?

"Because I will continue on the same course of conservative fiscal management and first-class service to our citizens, while maintaining our small-town atmosphere."
