Ashburn Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ASHBROOK PL., 20000 block, 9:28 to 9:30 p.m. Oct. 21. A purse, two wallets and credit cards were stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window. The credit cards were used to make purchases a short time later.

ASHBURN RD., 21000 block, 7 a.m. Oct. 22 to 11 a.m. Oct. 23. Soda and candy were stolen from a concession stand at a school.

ASSAULTS

EDWARDS FERRY RD. NE, 800 block, 5:39 p.m. Oct. 23. Police responded to an argument at a residence.

FORT EVANS RD. NE, 1 to 100 block, 9:17 a.m. Oct. 22. Police responded to a double stabbing at a residence. A man and a woman were taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries. A 38-year-old Leesburg woman was arrested and charged Oct. 23 with malicious wounding.

TRAILVIEW BLVD. SE, 800 block, 2:18 p.m. Oct. 23. Verbal threats were reported to police.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CATOCTIN CIR. SE, 100 block, 12:05 p.m. Oct. 22. A person pumped gasoline at a service station and did not pay.

CLAUDE CT. SE, 100 block, 8:19 a.m. Oct. 25. Floor joists were stolen from a construction site.

EDWARDS FERRY RD., 1000 block, 6:05 p.m. Oct. 21. A person pumped gasoline at a service station and did not pay.

FORT EVANS RD. NE, 1 to 100 block, 9:43 p.m. Oct. 24. Cash, CDs and golf clubs were stolen from a residence.

FORT EVANS RD. NE, 200 block, 5:16 p.m. Oct. 22. A stereo, two amplifiers and a speaker were stolen from a vehicle.

KING ST. S., 300 block, 9:32 a.m. Oct. 25. A television was stolen from a residence.

LEE AVE. SW, 800 block, 8:49 a.m. Oct. 22. A computer, a printer and a metal stand were stolen from a church.

MAX CT. SE, 100 block, 12:03 p.m. Oct. 21. A box of cabinet knobs was stolen from a construction site.

VANDALISM

GATEWAY DR. SE, 700 block, 3:44 a.m. Oct. 25. A vehicle was scratched.

Sterling Area

ASSAULTS

COTTAGE DR. N., 100 block, 3:05 a.m. Oct. 24. Several people assaulted a man outside a residence. The man reportedly refused medical treatment.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MARIES RD., 45000 block, 7:15 to 9:10 p.m. Oct. 21. Cash, a wallet and credit cards were stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window. The credit cards were used to make several transactions.

RIDGETOP CIR., 21000 block, 10 a.m. Oct. 23 to 10:30 a.m. Oct. 24. A digital camera and a carrying case were stolen from a hotel room.
