Vienna Arts Exhibit Set
The Vienna Arts Society will hold its 34th annual exhibit, featuring more than 100 local and regional artists, Nov. 19-21 at the Vienna Community Center.
This year's event will be judged by Mary Del Popolo, a faculty member at the Corcoran College of Art and Design in the District.
Del Popolo will speak about the show and present awards at a reception from 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 19 at the center, 120 Cherry St. Live music and light refreshments will be available.

"Honk!" for Children's Theater
The Mount Vernon Community Children's Theatre will present the musical comedy "Honk!" tomorrow through Sunday and Nov. 19 through 21 at Sandburg Middle School.
The production is aimed at children while winking at adults with its jokes and puns as it re-creates the story of the Ugly Duckling, said a spokesman for the theater group. The cast has more than 40 young actors between the ages of 8 and 17.
Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays. Tickets, $10 for adults and $8 for kids and seniors, can be purchased in advance by calling 703-360-0686, or at the door the day of the performance. Sandburg Middle School is at 8428 Fort Hunt Rd. in the Alexandria section of the county.
Artists Invited to Join Reston Show
The Reston Community Center is inviting local artists to enter their works in the first annual "Gifts from the HeART" exhibition at the Jo Ann Rose Gallery from Dec. 6 through Jan. 3.
Artists can submit two-dimensional works that can be purchased; up to two works per artist will be accepted, with a $5 entry fee per work. Artists are encouraged to donate 10 percent of their sales to Reston Interfaith.
There will be an opening reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 12 at the gallery.
Artists may drop off their entries from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 3 and 4 and from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 5. The gallery is in the Reston Community Center at Lake Anne, 1609 Washington Plaza. For more information, call 703-390-6175.
