SEXUAL ASSAULTS

VAN DORN ST. S., 100 block, 11:28 a.m. Nov. 1. A male armed with a sharp metal object followed a woman, 34, into the trash room of an apartment building, threatened her and forced her to perform a sex act. He fled in a vehicle. The woman was examined at a hospital.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

RAYMOND AVE. E., 200 block, 4:15 to 4:37 p.m. Oct. 27. A woman, 41, in the park with her children saw a male exposing himself behind a tree.

ASSAULTS

DUKE AND NORTH PAXTON STREETS, 9 p.m. Oct. 31. A male armed with a wooden club struck a man twice in the head and kicked him repeatedly with another male and fled on foot. An Alexandria man, 41, was taken to a hospital.

EDISON ST., 3400 block, 7:45 p.m. Nov. 1. A boy, 10, was shot in the neck with a pellet gun in front of his home. The boy was taken to a hospital.

EXECUTIVE AVE., 3800 block, 4:40 a.m. Oct. 31. A male armed with a large stick struck man in the face and fled with another male. The victim, 22, was taken to a hospital.

WASHINGTON ST. N., 700 block, 9 p.m. Oct. 31. A large group of juveniles threw water bottles and an egg at a male pedestrian and ran away. The pedestrian, 48, was hit in the face and back of the head. He was treated at a hospital.

ROBBERIES

BEAUREGARD ST. N., 5500 block, 3 a.m. Oct. 30. Three males punched a man, 18, and one of the males pulled out a razor blade while the other two males robbed the man of a cell phone and keys.

REINEKERS LANE, 200 block, 8:25 p.m. Nov. 1. A male attempted to grab a woman, 35, in a parking lot, and she threw her bag at the male and entered her car. The male fled.

TANEY AVE., 5400 block, 10:30 p.m. Oct. 29. A male grabbed the purse of a 43-year-old woman.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MILAN DR., 3800 block, 6 p.m. Oct. 26 to 8:45 a.m. Oct. 27. Electronic equipment, tools and luggage were stolen from a maintenance shop entered by forcing a window.

OLD DOMINION BLVD., 3300 block, 7 a.m. Oct. 29 to 8 a.m. Nov. 3. A woman, 36, returned home from a trip and discovered that her vehicle had been driven (a front wheel was damaged) and returned to the garage. Nothing was reported missing.

ARMISTEAD ST. N., 400 block, 8 p.m. Oct. 31 to 5 a.m. Nov. 1. A blue 1995 Honda Civic was stolen.

ARMISTEAD ST. N., 400 block, 8 p.m. Oct. 31 to 8 a.m. Nov. 1. A red 1995 Honda Civic was stolen.

ARMISTEAD ST. N., 600 block, 11 p.m. Oct. 29 to 4:45 p.m. Oct. 30. A white 2003 Dodge Caravan was stolen.

CLERMONT AVE., 100 block, 3 to 4 p.m. Nov. 1. A green 1998 Infiniti Q45 was stolen.

DUKE ST., 1 to 100 block, 2:10 p.m. Oct. 30. A blue 2003 Ford Taurus was stolen.

DUKE ST., 5300 block, 7:30 p.m. Nov. 1 to 12:20 p.m. Nov. 3. A green 1995 Plymouth Neon was stolen.

EDSALL RD., 6100 block, 10:30 p.m. Oct. 31 to 7:30 a.m. Nov. 1. A dark green 1999 Honda Civic was stolen.

KENMORE AVE., 4600 block, 2:30 to 3:05 p.m. Nov. 3. A tan 1996 Honda Accord was stolen.

KENMORE AVE., 4700 block, 7:30 p.m. Nov. 1 to 6:32 a.m. Nov. 2. A green 1994 Honda Accord was stolen.

KING ST., 3400 block, 4:22 p.m. Sept. 15 to 4:22 p.m. Oct. 23. A silver 2004 Lexus ES300 was stolen.

LEE ST. S., 400 block, noon to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 28. A white 1999 GMC van was stolen.

PAYNE ST. N., 600 block, 8:30 p.m. Oct. 29 to 9 a.m. Oct. 30. A green 1995 Mercury Sable was stolen.

SANGER AVE., 5200 block, 9:30 a.m. Oct. 31 to 9:30 a.m. Nov. 3. A white 1994 Honda Accord was stolen.

SEMINARY RD., 5000 block, 10:30 p.m. Oct. 27 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 31. A black 2004 Chevrolet was stolen.

WASHINGTON ST. S., 500 block, 3 to 4:40 p.m. Nov. 3. A blue 1995 Volvo 850 was stolen.

ASSAULTS

LOWELL ST. S., 2400 block, 5:25 p.m. Nov. 2. During an argument, a man shot a 37-year-old male acquaintance. The male was taken to a hospital.

ELEVENTH ST. N., 2300 block, Oct. 29. An argument began at a party and a fight continued outside, where a male stabbed a 26-year-old man four times. The man was treated at a hospital.

ROBBERIES

FOUR MILE RUN DR. S., 4100 block, 3:30 p.m. Oct. 29. A man, 34, responded to a knock at a door, and a male claimed he was a police officer, searched the man's pocket and robbed him of a wallet before fleeing.

LEE HWY., 4300 block, 9:04 p.m. Nov. 3. Three males wearing masks entered a grocery store. One showed a gun, and all three took cash from a cash register and fled.

28TH ST. S., 1500 block, 7 p.m. Oct. 31. A large group of males got out of cars and punched, kicked and chased two men, ages 18 and 19. One male stabbed one of the men in the back, took his baseball cap and fled. The injured man was taken to a hospital.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

COLUMBIA PIKE, 5500 block, 5 p.m. Nov. 2 to 11 a.m. Nov. 3. Furniture, a TV and four sets of china and flatware were stolen from an apartment.

COLUMBUS ST. S., 1200 block, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 2. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

FAIRFAX DR. N., 4200 block, 10:15 p.m. Nov. 1 to 7 a.m. Nov. 2. Several gas burners were turned on in a restaurant.

GLEBE RD. N., 600 block, 8:30 p.m. Oct. 28 to 12:30 a.m. Oct. 29. Tires were stolen from a business entered by forcing a window.

HAYES ST. S., 1100 block, 10:30 to 10:36 p.m. Oct. 29. Jewelry was stolen from a business entered by forcing a gate.

LEXINGTON ST. N., 2200 block, 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 28. Cash was stolen from a residence.

OAK ST. N., 1600 block, 5:30 p.m. Sept. 15 to 9 a.m. Nov. 1. Three oriental rugs, books, a TV and other property were stolen from a storage area at a residence entered by breaking a lock.

SHIRLINGTON RD., 2500 block, 7:26 p.m. Oct. 31. A business was entered by breaking a window. Nothing was reported missing.

WILSON BLVD., 4200 block, 10 a.m. Oct. 25 to 12:30 a.m. Oct. 26. Digital cameras were stolen from a business.

WILSON BLVD., 4200 block, 3:45 to 7:30 a.m. Oct. 31. Cash was stolen from a safe in a restaurant.

WILSON BLVD., 5200 block, 3 p.m. Oct. 31 to 6 p.m. Nov. 1. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a door.
