WISCONSIN AVE., 7800 block, 4:40 p.m. Oct. 22. A man grabbed a female pedestrian, 18, of Capitol Heights, and took her to a nearby driveway where he sexually assaulted her, then fled.

ROBBERIES

PARK AVE. N., 4600 block, 2 p.m. Oct. 26. A man in an underground parking garage accosted a Chevy Chase woman, 82, at her car. He took her purse and told her to get in the trunk and she refused. The man fled with cash, the purse, a wallet and glasses.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ALBEMARLE ST., 5200 block, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 22. A bicycle was stolen from an open garage.

CAPITOL VIEW AVE., 10200 block, noon to 12:56 p.m. Oct. 26. A residence was entered through a window. Nothing was reported missing.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 10600 block, 10 p.m. Oct. 25 to 9:30 a.m. Oct. 26. The back door of a business was pried open. Nothing was reported missing.

GERMANTOWN AREA, Oct. 14. Two boys sexually assaulted a 13-year-old Gaithersburg girl. An investigation was continuing.

CABANA DR., 20400 block, 9:30 p.m. Oct. 21 to 6:30 a.m. Oct. 22. A purse was stolen from a vehicle in an unlocked garage.

FREDERICK RD., 19700 block, 9:40 p.m. Oct. 23 and 9:50 a.m. Oct. 24. Cash and wine were stolen from a business entered by forcing a back door.

FREDERICK RD., 23300 block, 4:20 a.m. Oct. 21. Lottery tickets were stolen from a business entered by prying open a vent.

HARMONY WOODS LANE, 18700 block, 9:15 to 9:20 p.m. Oct. 25. A TV, a jacket and a leather bag were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked sliding glass door.

MARTINSBURG RD., 19100 block, midnight to 3 a.m. Oct. 26. A movie projector, a DVD player and sweatshirts were stolen from a snack bar entered by prying open a side door.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

GAITHERSBURG AREA, 11:30 p.m. Oct. 16. A Gaithersburg woman, 25, was sexually assaulted in an apartment by a man, 42, after other guests were told to leave. An investigation was continuing.

GAITHERSBURG AREA, 7 p.m. Oct. 20. A Damascus girl, 16, reported she was raped. An investigation was continuing.

GAITHERSBURG AREA, Nov. 1. A man was charged with second-degree rape for an incident that occurred in September.

GAITHERSBURG AREA, Oct. 22. A Gaithersburg woman, 32, reported she was assaulted and raped. An investigation was continuing.

GAITHERSBURG AREA, Oct. 25. A Silver Spring woman, 27, reported she was raped by an acquaintance. An investigation was continuing.

GAITHERSBURG AREA, Oct. 27. A Gaithersburg woman reported she was sexually assaulted Sept. 26 by an adult male acquaintance. An investigation was continuing.

MONTGOMERY VILLAGE AREA, 2 p.m. Oct. 28. A Germantown woman, 47, reported she was raped. An investigation was continuing.

MONTGOMERY VILLAGE AREA, Oct. 27. A woman, 47, reported she was raped. An investigation was continuing.

SHADY SPRING DRIVE, 8:30 a.m. Oct. 23. A Gaithersburg woman, 34, was sexually assaulted in an apartment. An investigation was continuing.

ASSAULTS

SUMMIT AVE. N., 400 block, 2:55 a.m. Oct. 25. A New York man, 22, heard his vehicle alarm, found a dent in his car and saw a man and a woman nearby. He got into an argument with the man and the man punched him, forced him to the ground and threatened him with a knife. Police were called and the assailant was taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation. Police learned the dent was caused by the man's throwing the woman against the car. She reportedly refused medical treatment. No arrest was reported.

ROBBERIES

CENTERWAY ROAD AND MONTGOMERY VILLAGE AVENUE, 4:35 p.m. Oct. 28. At a bus stop, four men accosted a Montgomery Village youth, 16, at gunpoint, hit him and forced him to the ground. They took cash and a wallet, and fled.

GOSHEN RD., 20000 block, 5:21 a.m. Oct. 27. A gunman in a service station store hit an attendant who tried to close the door. The gunman opened the cash register, took the cash and fled.

KENTLANDS BLVD., 300 block, 6:51 p.m. Oct. 21. A gunman entered a bank by a back door and ordered the employees to lie on the floor. He forced an employee to open a safe, put cash in a bag, then ran out the back door with the cash.

LOST KNIFE CIR., 18400 block, 3:55 a.m. Oct. 25. A man ran out from behind bushes and forced a Silver Spring man, 46, off his bicycle and road away on it.

LOST KNIFE ROAD AND ODENDHAL AVENUE, 11 p.m. Oct. 22. A Gaithersburg pedestrian, 28, was hit over the back of his head. He had no memory until a fire and rescue team arrived. Cash was missing from his wallet. He was treated at a local hospital and released.

WEST SIDE DR., 900 block, 1:30 a.m. Oct. 30. A man punched a Gaithersburg pedestrian, 61, forced him to the ground, took his cell phone and fled. The man was taken to the hospital and treated for injuries.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BEECHCRAFT AVE., 7800 block, 3 p.m. Oct. 23 to 6 a.m. Oct. 25. A generator and tools were stolen from a construction trailer entered by prying open a window.

BOOTH ST., 300 block, 12:01 a.m. Oct. 24 to 1 p.m. Oct. 25. A vehicle, a cell phone and keys were stolen from a residence.

CLIFFTOP DR., 700 block, 11:50 p.m. Oct. 29. A front screen door of a residence was opened.

CORPORATE BLVD., 9200 block, 6:30 p.m. Oct. 31 to 6:45 a.m. Nov. 1. An office door was pried open. Nothing was reported missing.

DREXEL HILL CIR., 19900 block, 2 p.m. Oct. 23 to 6:50 p.m. Oct. 26. A residence was ransacked. Nothing was reported missing.

LOST KNIFE CIR., 18300 block, 9:45 a.m. to 5:20 p.m. Oct. 19. A screen was cut at a residence and a lock of a sliding glass door was pried open. Nothing was reported missing.

LOST KNIFE RD., 18300 block, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 22. Cash, electronic equipment, video games and DVDs were stolen from a residence entered through a sliding glass door.

MOUNTAIN LAUREL LANE, 8100 block, 6 p.m. Oct. 29 to 10 a.m. Nov. 1. The door frame of a business was damaged.

ROCKVILLE AREA, Oct. 26. A Silver Spring woman, 46, reported she was raped Oct. 16 in a home by an adult male acquaintance.

LEWIS AVENUE AT TWINBROOK METRO STATION, 9:50 p.m. Nov. 1. Two men grabbed a purse from a female pedestrian at knifepoint and fled.

SOUTHLAWN LANE AND E. GUDE DRIVE, 7:45 p.m. Oct. 25. A Germantown woman, 39, asked a man for a ride to Piccard Drive. The man complied, drove her to the destination, then forced her to the ground and took her money.

CONGRESSIONAL LANE, 200 block, 11:45 p.m. Oct. 26 to 7 a.m. Oct. 27. A vehicle was stolen from a residence entered by a sliding glass door.

CRANFORD DR., 9200 block, 11 p.m. Oct. 27 to 5:50 a.m. Oct. 28. A laptop computer, an electronic organizer, a cell phone, a purse, a wallet, prescription glasses and a computer plug were stolen from a residence entered by an unlocked garage door.

CRAWFORD DR., 1100 block, noon Oct. 25 to 10:53 a.m. Oct. 26. A front door of a shed in a park was broken open. Nothing was reported missing.

FAWN CT., 7700 block, 4:31 a.m. Oct. 23. The front door of a residence was kicked open. Nothing was reported missing.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

SILVER SPRING AREA, 9:15 a.m. Oct. 24. A cab driver sexually assaulted a 23-year-old female passenger. An investigation was continuing.

ASSAULTS

DECEMBER DR., 1500 block, 3:40 p.m. Oct. 28. A boy chased a 10-year-old boy at knifepoint into a building and up stairs until the 10-year-old was helped by occupants of the building.

ROBBERIES

BEACON RD., 700 block, 10:48 p.m. Oct. 29. A man grabbed a Silver Spring pedestrian, 49, carried her behind a building and dropped her on the ground. He struggled to take her purse, saw someone watching and fled. The woman was treated by a fire and rescue unit.

COLESVILLE RD., 10300 block, 11:05 a.m. Sept. 1. A Lanham man, 22, was arrested at his residence Oct. 25 and charged with robbery in connection with an incident at the above time, date and location, in which a male employee of a business was robbed of receipts as he walked to make a deposit a nearby bank.

EAST WEST HWY., 1200 block, 10:40 a.m. Oct. 22. A man in a store forced a customer, 75, at gunpoint to walk out to his vehicle, where he and a woman took his cash and jewelry.

EAST WEST HWY., 1900 block, 9:50 p.m. Oct. 25. A man grabbed a Silver Spring female pedestrian, 49, pressed a gun to her neck and forced her to the ground. He took her purse and fled. She received a scrape abrasion that reportedly did not require medical attention.

EASTERN AVENUE AND BLAIR MILL ROAD, 8:35 p.m. Oct. 28. A man stopped a Silver Spring pedestrian, 24, and demanded money at gunpoint. The pedestrian gave the robber cash and the robber fled.

GILBERT PLACE AND GILBERT STREET, 5:30 a.m. Oct. 24. Two men accosted a Silver Spring man, 21, and his brother at gunpoint as the brothers got out of their vehicle. The assailants demanded their wallets, took cash and a wallet, then fled.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 11700 block, 10:05 a.m. Oct. 26. A man shoved a Silver Spring woman, 26, as she sat in her parked vehicle. He grabbed her purse and took keys out of the ignition. He left in his own vehicle.

VEIRS MILL RD., 12400 block, 2:25 a.m. Oct. 31. A red Nissan stopped next to a male pedestrian, 22, of Silver Spring, and the driver got out, punched him and forced him to the ground. He took his cell phone and left in his vehicle. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital and treated for injuries.

WOODSDALE DRIVE AND MEADOW HILL ROAD, 12:10 a.m. Oct. 30. A red vehicle stopped next to a Silver Spring female pedestrian and the driver pointed a gun and demanded her purse. She complied and he drove away.

ANGELTON TER., 14200 block, 6:30 p.m. Oct. 25 to 9:45 a.m. Oct. 26. Cash, a laptop computer and a video camera were stolen from a residence entered by a broken door.

VEIRS MILL RD., 11100 block, 10:13 p.m. Oct. 23. A man confronted a Kensington woman, 23, as she got out of her parked vehicle. He indicated that he had a weapon and she screamed. He covered her mouth, hit her in the face, then fled.

VEIRS MILL RD., 11100 block, 9:05 p.m. Oct. 23. A man with a knife confronted a Rockville man, 39, getting out of his vehicle and demanded money. The motorist ran away unharmed.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 6400 block, 6 p.m. Oct. 30 to 5:45 a.m. Oct. 31. Property was stolen from a 1985 Cadillac Seville, a 1999 Lexus ES and a 1996 Nissan Maxima entered by breaking or forcing windows. A 1996 Nissan was entered through a broken window and ransacked but nothing was reported missing.
