THEFTS/BREAK-INS

DUNKIRK. Two residences were robbed during the past three weeks. A man, 41, was charged with first- and second-degree burglary and two counts of theft of less than $500.

BALD BLUFF CT., Oct. 31. Weightlifting and boxing equipment was stolen from a carport at a residence.

GROVEFIELD LANE, 4:25 p.m. Nov. 7. A sharp object was used to scratch the paint on a vehicle.

VEHICLE THEFTS

HORACE WARD RD., 8:40 p.m. Nov. 7. A 1996 Nissan truck was stolen from the parking lot at Skills Barber Shop.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

CHESAPEAKE AVE., 1:50 p.m. Nov. 1. Obscenities were spray-painted on the rear wall of the Tastee Freeze.

Prince Frederick Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

WILLOW WAY, Nov. 5. Four youths were caught in a residence by the owner. An investigation found they had entered the residence several times over a month. They were charged with first-degree burglary and theft of less than $500.

Sunderland Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ROUTES 2 AND 4, 1:50 a.m. Nov. 5. A man, 42, had a stolen license plate on his vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed several burglary tools. He was charged with theft of the tag and possession of burglary tools.

ELENA DR., 7400 block, 6 p.m. Oct. 31 to 6:30 a.m. Nov. 1. Someone attempted to steal a vehicle parked at a residence.

CRAIN HWY., 11100 block, 6:55 p.m. Nov. 5. A man, 37, said that a man, 43, threatened him with a knife at the White House Motel. The man was charged with first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and carrying a deadly weapon.

ASSAULTS

RIVERSIDE RUN DR., 600 block, 9:25 p.m. Nov. 7. A woman, 26, was assaulted, and she and a man, 26, were threatened with knives. A woman, 30, was charged with first- and second-degree assault and destruction of property of less than $500.

HUNTERS BROOKE, midnight to 7 a.m. Nov. 3. Lumber was stolen from a construction site.

BLAIR RD., 10 block, Oct. 30 to Nov. 1. Someone attempted to steal a vehicle parked at a residence.

BLAIR RD., 200 block, 10 p.m. Oct. 31 to 7 a.m. Nov. 1. A 1993 Dodge Spirit was stolen from a residence.

ASSAULTS

REGINALD PL., 8100 block, 1:43 a.m. Nov. 5. A man, 31, allegedly assaulted, bit and threw a piece of concrete at an officer who approached the man's vehicle. He was charged with first- and second-degree assault, resisting arrest, driving while intoxicated, traffic violations and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.

La Plata Area

ASSAULTS

MITCHELL RD., 8700 block, 12:46 a.m. Nov. 4. A man, 28, allegedly stabbed a man, 27, during an argument. A man, 47, allegedly assaulted a woman, 27. The man who was stabbed was flown to Prince George's Hospital Center with non-life threatening injuries. The 28-year-old man was charged with first-degree assault and assault with a deadly weapon. The 47-year-old man was charged with second-degree assault.

Waldorf Area

ASSAULTS

BLUEBIRD DR., 4000 block, 5:50 p.m. Nov. 6. A girl, 17, allegedly assaulted a man, 19, and attempted to stab him. She was charged with first-degree assault, reckless endangerment and possession of a deadly weapon with intent to injure.

CEDAR RUN DR., 8100 block, 5:45 p.m. Nov. 3. A girl, 13, stabbed a woman, 40, with a knife during an argument.

VEHICLE THEFTS

CHIMNEY SWIFT CT., 4000 block, 5:02 a.m. Nov. 1. A 1997 Ford Thunderbird and a gray Ford van, with its engine running, were stolen from a residence.

HALSEY CT., 12:30 p.m. Nov. 6. A man, 53, allegedly threatened a woman, 57, with a firearm at a residence. He was charged with first-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

INDIAN BRIDGE RD., 7:48 p.m. Nov. 26. A man, 35, struggled with a state trooper after a short motorcycle pursuit. He was charged with second-degree assault, fleeing and eluding, resisting arrest and traffic violations.

ST. ANDREW'S DR., 7 p.m. Oct. 31. A woman, 27, allegedly assaulted a man, 35, at a residence. She was charged with second-degree assault.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

SOUTH SPRINGSTEEN CT., 5:30 p.m. Nov. 3. Two boys, 12 and 16, allegedly stole PlayStation games from a residence. They were charged with burglary, theft of less than $500 and juvenile delinquency.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

MAPLE RD., 5 p.m. Nov. 26 to 7 a.m. Nov. 27. Windows at Esperanza Middle School were damaged. Windows on a school bus parked at the school also were damaged.

CHERRY FIELD RD., 10 p.m. Oct. 30. A man, 48, allegedly assaulted a woman, 50, at a residence. He was charged with second-degree assault.

GREENVIEW CT., 3 p.m. Oct. 29. A boy, 14, allegedly assaulted a girl, 12, at a residence. He was charged with second-degree assault.

JOY CHAPEL RD., 8:30 a.m. Nov. 1. A BB gun was used to damage seven windows at Hollywood Elementary School.

LUCKY LANE, 7:35 a.m. Nov. 6. The window on a vehicle was broken.

NATS CREEK RD., 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 6. A vehicle was damaged at a residence.

ASSAULTS

LEONARDTOWN, 2 p.m. Nov. 6. A man, 35, assaulted an officer while escaping from the Southern Maryland Pre-Release Unit.

LEONARDTOWN, 1:39 p.m. Nov. 3. A girl, 12, allegedly threatened to punch a teacher at the Alternative Learning Center. She also disrupted classroom activities. She was charged with second-degree assault and disruption of school activities.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

DEERWOOD PARK DR., Nov. 4. A camcorder was stolen from a residence. Entry was gained by breaking a window.

NORRIS ST., 10:45 p.m. Nov. 3. A man, 28, allegedly broke into a residence. He was charged with breaking and entering, second-degree assault and malicious destruction of property.

POINT LOOKOUT RD., 4 p.m. Nov. 1 to 8 a.m. Nov. 2. A rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle parked in the rear parking lot of St. Mary's Hospital.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

CHESTNUT RIDGE DR., 7 p.m. Nov. 4 to 8 a.m. Nov. 5. Several mailboxes were damaged.

VEHICLE THEFTS

ROUTE 5, 10:28 a.m. Nov. 5. A man, 26, allegedly stole a vehicle from a residence in Mechanicsville. He was located at St. Mary's Hospital. He was charged with theft of a motor vehicle.

Lexington Park Area

ASSAULTS

GREAT MILLS RD., Nov. 6. A woman sprayed shaving cream on a man while he was sleeping. When he woke up, she allegedly slapped him. She was charged with second-degree assault.

VALLEY CT., 7 p.m. Oct. 29. A woman, 23, allegedly assaulted a woman, 39, at a residence. She was charged with second-degree assault.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MAYFAIR LANE, 6 p.m. Nov. 3 to 8:30 a.m. Nov. 4. Several items were stolen from a residence.

THOMPSON CT., 3:12 p.m. Nov. 6. A black leather coat was stolen from a residence.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

BRIGHTON AVE., 2:50 a.m. Nov. 8. A woman, 38, allegedly damaged a patrol car during her arrest in a hit-and-run accident. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident and malicious destruction of property.

Mechanicsville Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

THREE NOTCH RD., 4 p.m. Nov. 15 to noon Nov. 17. Gasoline was removed from a vehicle parked at a residence.

Ridge Area

ASSAULTS

RIDGE, 9:41 a.m. Nov. 6. A man, 37, allegedly broke into a residence and used a knife to cut a pair of jeans. He was charged with burglary and malicious destruction of property.
