Ashburn Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ASHBURN SHOPPING PLAZA, 44000 block, 5 to 11 a.m. Nov. 7. A CD player, a speaker box and CDs were stolen from a vehicle, and a window was damaged.

CAYUGA CT., 20000 block, 4 p.m. Nov. 3 to 7 a.m. Nov. 4. Building supplies were stolen from a construction site.

NAVAJO DR., 44000 block, 4 p.m. Nov. 3 to 7 a.m. Nov. 4. A microwave oven was stolen from a house under construction, and a garage door was damaged.

VANDALISM

BLOSSOM HILL TER., 21000 block, noon Nov. 1 to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 5. A vehicle was marked with graffiti.

CALHOUN CORNERS TER., 21000 block, 10 p.m. Nov. 5 to 11:50 a.m. Nov. 6. Three vehicle tires were damaged.

MARKHAM PL., 43000 block, 9 a.m. Oct. 23 to 8 a.m. Nov. 6. Five window screens at a residence were slashed.

ASSAULTS

BRIDAL CREST SQ. NE, 300 block, 11:08 a.m. Nov. 7. An assault at a residence was reported to police.

LOUDOUN ST. SW, 200 block, 1:34 a.m. Nov. 7. An assault was reported to police.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CORNWALL ST. NW, 200 block, 4:41 p.m. Nov. 5. A check and a Sony mini-disc player were stolen from a bag at a hospital.

FOXRIDGE DR. SW, 400 block, 10:50 a.m. Nov. 6. Two DVD players, two VCRs and 12 DVDs were stolen from a residence.

GATEWAY DR. SE, 700 block, 8:05 p.m. Nov. 5. A toolbox and a TV receiver box were stolen from a residence.

GINKO TER., 400 block, 6:26 p.m. Nov. 7. Prescription medication was stolen from a residence.

KING ST. S., 400 block, 1:31 p.m. Nov. 6. A checkbook, credit cards and a cell phone were stolen from a vehicle. The items were recovered in a parking lot at a business.

MARKET ST. E., 300 block, 8:06 a.m. Nov. 4. Two Virginia license plates were stolen from a truck at a business.

MEADOWS LANE NE, 200 block, 8:43 a.m. Nov. 7. A stereo-CD player was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window; coins, a stereo, a CD case containing 48 CDs and a leather bag were stolen from a second vehicle entered by breaking a window; and a third vehicle was entered by breaking a window and a stereo was damaged.

SOUTHVIEW PL. NE, 700 block, 9:58 a.m. Nov. 5. An attempt was made to remove a stereo from a vehicle by forcing a door lock.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

CATOCTIN CIR., 100 block, 8:15 a.m. Nov. 4. A 1993 Ford Probe was stolen.

VANDALISM

EDWARDS FERRY RD. NE, 1000 block, 12:21 p.m. Nov. 3. The exterior of a building was marked with graffiti.

FORT EVANS RD. NE, 600 block, 12:48 p.m. Nov. 6. A front pane at a business was broken.

MEADOWS LANE NE, 100 block, 7:37 a.m. Nov. 4. A vehicle was scratched.

Round Hill Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

AIRMONT RD., 20000 block, 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 5. A green farm sign and a mailbox were stolen.

VANDALISM

MULBERRY STREET, 9 a.m. Nov. 9. A pipe was thrown through a front window at a residence.

South Riding Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

VILLAGE DR. S., 25000 block, 5:30 p.m. Nov. 3 to 7 a.m. Nov. 4. A sink and a faucet were stolen from a house under construction.

Sterling Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

HOWARD PL., 1 to 100 block, 12:01 to 6 a.m. Nov. 7. A mountain bike was stolen from a back yard at a residence.

VANDALISM

BOX CAR SQ., 22000 block, 7:30 to 9 p.m. Nov. 4. Two tires were punctured on a vehicle parked in a driveway at a residence.

DAVIS DR., 22000 block, 5 to 10 a.m. Nov. 1. A deputy on patrol found graffiti marked on a concrete wall at a business.

FAIRWAY DR., 47000 block, 3:16 a.m. Nov. 6. A vehicle was driven across a fairway at a golf course, damaging the greens. Two Sterling men were charged with destruction of property.
