In McLean, One-Stop Museum Shopping
The McLean Project for the Arts will host its 12th annual museum shops holiday sale Nov. 26 through 28 at the McLean Community Center.
This year's event features items from 19 museum gift shops, including Fallingwater (Frank Lloyd Wright's house), the Textile Museum, Monticello, the Freer Gallery of Art, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, the Kennedy Center, the Supreme Court and U.S. Capitol historical societies, Washington National Cathedral and Winterthur. There will also be a silent auction and music.
Proceeds benefit the arts group and the participating museums.
The sale is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 26 and 27 and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 28. Admission is $6 for adults; $3 for students 13 and older; free for children younger than 12.

Children to Hold Flea Market in Reston
The Reston Community Center at Hunters Woods will host a children's flea market from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
Children are invited to set up booths to sell items other than food and animals. After the flea market, unwanted items will be donated to the needy.

Falls Church Sets Holiday Events
The Falls Church Community Center will hold its 12th annual holiday craft show Dec. 4 and 5.
More than 40 craftspeople will sell handmade gift items and baked goods. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 4 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 5.
Children are invited to eat breakfast with Santa Claus from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Dec. 4, enjoy a puppet show at 11:30 a.m. and participate in craft activities from noon to 3 p.m. A $6 fee includes all three activities; reservations and prepayment are required. Falls Church Community Television, on cable, will film videos of children with Santa at a cost of $5 a video.
At 12:30 p.m. Dec. 5, children can attend a winter magic show. Admission is $5.
