DALTONS GROVE CT., 8500 block, 6 p.m. Nov. 2 to 9:30 a.m. Nov. 3. Tools were stolen from an unlocked van at a house.

DALTONS GROVE CT., 8500 block, 8:30 p.m. Nov. 2 to 7:30 a.m. Nov. 3. Stereo equipment and CDs were stolen from a car at a house. The vehicle was entered by forcing a window.

HUME CT., 10000 block, 8 p.m. Nov. 2 to 7:40 a.m. Nov. 3. A DVD player, DVDs, stereo equipment, CDs and cash were stolen from an SUV at a house.

HAMILTON DR., 4400 block, 5:47 p.m. Nov. 5. A man and a male teenager, one with a gun, robbed a male cabdriver of cash and a cell phone.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BAKERSFIELD ST., 14600 block, 9 p.m. Nov. 4 to noon Nov. 5. Tools were stolen from a house entered by forcing a rear sliding glass door.

BIRCHDALE AVE., 14700 block, 6 p.m. Oct. 29 to 8:30 a.m. Nov. 3. Four hubcaps were stolen from a car at a house.

BIXBY RD., 2700 block, 4 p.m. Nov. 3. A house was entered by breaking a window. Nothing was reported missing.

CLOVERDALE RD., 15100 block, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Nov. 3. Jewelry and credit cards were stolen from a car at a house.

ESQUARRE CT., 3300 block, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 9. Cash, DVDs and jewelry were stolen from a house entered by breaking a window.

LONGHORN DR., 4900 block, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 8. A video game system, games and CDs were stolen from a house entered by forcing a sliding glass door.

MORRISON CT., 14100 block, 9 p.m. Nov. 3 to 10 a.m. Nov. 4. Stereo equipment and auto parts were stolen from a car at a house. The vehicle was entered by forcing a window.

NAYLOR CT., 5600 block, 2:20 to 3:07 p.m. Nov. 5. Two men, one with a gun, knocked on a door of a house. A man, 55, opened the door, and the men pushed their way inside. They bound the occupant and took cash, jewelry and a cell phone.

QUEEN CHAPEL RD., 12900 block, 9 p.m. Nov. 7 to 8:45 a.m. Nov. 8. A bicycle was stolen from a yard of a house.

WESTMINISTER LANE, 14300 block, 11:30 p.m. Nov. 5 to 9:45 p.m. Nov. 6. Stereo equipment was stolen from a car at a house.

WHITAKER PL., 4600 block, 9:10 a.m. Nov. 8. A stove and a refrigerator were stolen from a house entered by breaking a window.

TOUCHSTONE CIR., 12800 block, 9:25 p.m. Nov. 3. Three men began a conversation with a woman, 35, as she sat in her purple 2000 Dodge Neon in a parking lot. When she got out, the men fled in the vehicle.

HAMPSTEAD LANE, 4100 block, 10:30 p.m. Nov. 5 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 6. Stereo equipment, CDs and a bag were stolen from a car at a house. The vehicle was entered by breaking a window.

MARQUIS PL., 4300 block, 1:30 to 6:30 a.m. Nov. 6. Stereo equipment and four wheels were stolen from a car at a house. The vehicle was entered by forcing a window.

SUDLEY MANOR DR. AND BRANDON WAY, 10:45 p.m. Nov. 5. A car stopped alongside a male pedestrian, 23, and the occupants demanded his wallet. One occupant then took the wallet and stabbed him.

SHEFFIELD DR., 16200 block, 10:30 p.m. Nov. 2 to 6:30 a.m. Nov. 3. Stereo equipment, a television and a seat were stolen from a van at a house.

GIDEON DR., 14400 block, 8:58 p.m. Nov. 9. A woman at a restaurant asked a male cabdriver, 50, for a ride. A man then approached and also asked for a ride. Both got into the cab. The man then showed a gun and robbed the driver of cash, a key and a cell phone. The man and woman fled from the cab.

MOUNT PLEASANT AND BAYSIDE AVES., 12:46 a.m. Nov. 4. A male passenger in a cab ordered the male driver to stop, then showed an unidentified object and robbed him of cash.

BRANDY MOOR LOOP, 16800 block, 8 p.m. Nov. 5 to 11 a.m. Nov. 6. An attempt was made to enter a house by forcing a window screen.

CARTER LANE, 1500 block, 8 p.m. Nov. 1 to 6 p.m. Nov. 5. A toolbox was stolen from the rear yard of a house.

MEHERRIN WAY, 15800 block, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 8. An attempt was made to enter a house by removing a window screen.

MINNIEVILLE RD., 13400 block, 7 p.m. Nov. 2 to 7 a.m. Nov. 3. Cash was stolen from an animal clinic.

PINON CT., 14600 block, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 8. Jewelry and camera equipment were stolen from a house entered by breaking a rear sliding glass door.

POTOMAC MILLS CIR., 2700 block, 11:14 to 11:18 a.m. Nov. 8. Cash was taken from a purse in a store office.

POTOMAC MILLS CIR., 2700 block, 5 p.m. Nov. 4. A male in a shopping plaza kiosk grabbed jewelry from a female employee, 20, and fled.

POTOMAC MILLS CIR., 2700 block, 5 to 6 p.m. Nov. 8. Computer equipment, cash, a cell phone and clothing were stolen from a car at a shopping plaza.

PRINCE WILLIAM PKWY., 2200 block, 6 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Nov. 3. Stereo equipment and a television were stolen from an SUV at a commuter lot. The vehicle was entered by breaking a window.

PRINCE WILLIAM PKWY., 2600 block, 4:30 p.m. Nov. 6 to 7:15 a.m. Nov. 8. A generator was stolen from a trailer entered through an unlocked window.

MACEDONIA CIR., 16000 block, 10:30 p.m. Nov. 7 to 7:30 a.m. Nov. 8. A red 1991 Honda Civic was stolen from a house.

ROBBERIES

LIBERIA AVE., 9900 block, 10:20 a.m. Nov. 7. A man entered a carryout restaurant, walked behind a counter and demanded that a female employee open a cash register. The female thought the man was armed. He took money and fled.

TOWN LANE, 9800 block, 12:05 a.m. Nov. 8. Two males, one with a knife, demanded cash from two male pedestrians, 22 and 28. The pedestrians ran, and the younger one entered a residence and called police. The man and police went to the crime scene and found the other pedestrian lying unconscious between two cars. He was taken to a hospital.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

LIBERIA AVE., 9600 block, 10:48 p.m. Nov. 6. A clerk opened a cash drawer in a gas station, and a man asked for a lottery ticket. The clerk turned away, and the man grabbed cash from the drawer and fled.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

PEABODY ST., 9400 block, Nov. 9. A white 1997 Dodge 3500 van was stolen from a parking lot.

Manassas Park

COURTNEY DR., 100 block, 9 p.m. Nov. 6 to 1 p.m. Nov. 7. A chain securing a generator to the back of a pickup was cut, and the generator was stolen.

MATHIS AVE., 8500 block, 7:50 p.m. Nov. 5. Cash was taken from a purse left unattended in a restaurant.

YOST ST., 100 block, 7 p.m. Nov. 7 to 7 a.m. Nov. 8. Stereo equipment was stolen from a vehicle at a house. The vehicle was entered by breaking a window.

VANDALISM

SWANN CT., 8600 block, 11 p.m. Nov. 5 to 10:44 a.m. Nov. 6. Two tires of two vehicles were punctured.
