THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CLEARNIGHT TERR., 43000 block, 7:45 to 8 p.m. Nov. 15. A video game system, accessories and a game were stolen from a residence.

PUEBLOS SQ., 20000 block, 4 p.m. Nov. 15 to 10 a.m. Nov. 16. A countertop and a cabinet were stolen from a house under construction.

ASSAULTS

BONNIE RIDGE TERR. NE, 700 block, 9:39 p.m. Nov. 10. An assault at a residence was reported to police.

CONSTELLATION SQ. SE, 600 block, 3:20 p.m. Nov. 15. Police responded to an argument at a residence.

EVERGREEN MILL RD. SE, 500 block, 12:15 p.m. Nov. 12. An assault involving two students at a high school was reported to police.

FORT EVANS RD. NE, 100 block, 7:19 p.m. Nov. 13. Police responded to an argument.

HERITAGE WAY NE, 100 block, 4:46 p.m. Nov. 10. Telephone threats were reported to police.

IDA LEE DR. NW, 1 to 100 block, 6:27 p.m. Nov. 11. An assault was reported to police.

MARKET ST. W., 200 block, 10:43 a.m. Nov. 14. An assault was reported to police.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CORNWALL ST. NE, 1 to 100 block, 8:34 a.m. Nov. 15. A key ring and keys were stolen.

DEERPATH AVE. SW, 400 block, 11:03 a.m. Nov. 13. Two mounted DVD display screens were stolen from a vehicle.

EVERGREEN MILL RD. SE, 500 block, 5:52 p.m. Nov. 12. A Samsung camera cell phone was stolen at a high school.

EVERGREEN MILL RD. SE, 500 block, 10:20 a.m. Nov. 12. A calculator was stolen at a school.

FORT EVANS RD. NE, 100 block, 10:35 a.m. Nov. 11. Cash, travelers checks and an ATM card were stolen from a purse in a vehicle.

IDA LEE DR. NW, 1 to 100 block, 7:59 p.m. Nov. 15. Three vehicles at a recreation center were entered by breaking windows, and wallets, a purse and credit cards were stolen.

KING ST. N., 1 to 100 block, 12:20 p.m. Nov. 10. Cash was stolen from a business.

KING ST. S., 600 block, 9:32 a.m. Nov. 11. Cash, a safe and a TV were stolen from a business.

VANDALISM

EDWARDS FERRY RD. NE, 1000 block, 4:40 p.m. Nov. 14. A back door at a business was damaged.

IDA LEE DR. NW, 1 to 100 block, 9:41 a.m. Nov. 12. Two walls at a recreation center were marked with graffiti.

MARSHALL DR. NE, 900 block, 11:07 a.m. Nov. 14. A vehicle windshield was broken.

Lovettsville Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BRUCE COURT, 8:11 p.m. Nov. 12. A man entered a house under construction and removed a refrigerator and a stove. He was seen as he attempted to leave the house. The man was charged with grand theft and entering a property with intent to damage.

Purcellville Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

PIPERS BROOK DR., 700 block, Nov. 10. A vehicle license plate was stolen.

PURCELLVILLE RD., 16000 block, 9 p.m. Nov. 16 to 4 a.m. Nov. 17. Several vehicles were entered, and a gun and cigarettes were stolen.

Sterling Area

ASSAULTS

CARPENTER DR., 100 block, 8:20 to 8:25 p.m. Nov. 17. A man outside a building assaulted a woman who had come out to empty trash. The woman struggled with the man, and he fled into a nearby wooded area. The victim was injured but did not have medical attention.

ROBBERIES

HARRY BYRD HWY., 4000 block, 11:07 a.m. Nov. 12. A gunman approached a counter at a bank, announced a robbery and fled with cash.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ARGONNE AVE., 900 block, 4:30 p.m. Nov. 14 to 12:20 a.m. Nov. 15. A computer, a camera, DVD players and other electronic equipment were stolen from a residence.

HARRY BYRD HWY., 46000 block, 12:01 a.m. Nov. 11 to 11:59 p.m. Nov. 12. A CD player was stolen from a vehicle left at a service station.

HARRY BYRD HWY., 46000 block, 12:01 a.m. Nov. 11 to 11:59 p.m. Nov. 12. Tools were stolen from a business.

SHEPARD DR., 1000 block, 6:15 to 7 p.m. Nov. 17. A laptop computer was stolen from a desk at a business.

VANDALISM

QUINCY CT., 1 to 100 block, 9 p.m. Nov. 12 to 10 a.m. Nov. 13. A vehicle was scratched.

Waterford Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CLIFORD CT., 40000 block, 1 to 8:30 a.m. Nov. 14. Cash was stolen from a purse in a vehicle entered by damaging a side window.
