Bel Alton Area

HOMICIDES

CRAIN HWY., 8100 block, 1:40 a.m. Nov. 14. A man, 24, is accused of knocking a man, 32, unconscious after the 32-year-old attempted to break up a fight at the Good Times Restaurant and Bar. The 24-year-old, another man, 27, and a woman, 23, are alleged to have punched and kicked the man while he lay on the ground. He was taken to Civista Medical Center and later flown to Washington Hospital Center, where he died later that day. The three were charged with first-degree murder and first-degree assault.

Bryans Road Area

ROBBERIES

INDIAN HEAD HWY., 6900 block, 12:55 a.m. Nov. 13. A robber walked up to the drive-through window at Port Side Liquors, tapped on the window with a handgun and demanded money. The clerk refused. The man fled the scene in a white station wagon.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

LANTANA DR., 6800 block, Nov. 15 to 16. A pressure washer, generator, air compressor, miter saw, belt sander and assorted tools were stolen from a storage trailer.

VEHICLE THEFTS

HUNGERFORD RD., 10:06 p.m. Nov. 13. A boy, 14, is accused of driving a vehicle without the headlights on. He allegedly refused to pull over when officers attempted to stop him. Soon after, the vehicle became disabled. He was charged with unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, theft over $500, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, eluding a police vehicle and numerous traffic charges.

Indian Head Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MASON SPRINGS RD., 5200 block, Nov. 1 to 8. Three electric drills, two electric saws and a toolbox with tools were stolen from a garage at a residence.

VEHICLE THEFTS

WEAVER ST., 100 block, 10:50 a.m. Nov. 13. An all-terrain vehicle was stolen in Prince George's County. A boy, 14, was charged with motor vehicle theft.

La Plata Area

ASSAULTS

NELSON DR., 6300 block, 9:59 a.m. Nov. 11. A boy, 16, is accused of assaulting a man, 43, at a residence. The man went to another room and fired a handgun at the door. The boy fled. He was found soon after. He was charged with first-degree assault and two counts of second-degree assault.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

HAWTHORNE RD., 6900 block, 2 a.m. Nov. 12. Alcoholic beverages and cigarettes were stolen from Halfway Liquors.

Pomfret Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BENSVILLE RD., 6500 block, 12:30 to 6:30 a.m. Nov. 15. An electric poker machine was stolen from Hunts Tavern.

Waldorf Area

ASSAULTS

BERRY RD., 11700 block, 2:37 p.m. Nov. 4. Three security officers were assaulted at Best Buy during a man's attempt to flee the store with merchandise. A man, 23, was charged with three counts of second-degree assault and one count of theft under $500.

LELAND PL., 11400 block, 5 p.m. Nov. 10. Two boys between the ages of 16 and 18 are accused of pushing a boy, 11, to the ground, throwing rocks at him and kicking him. They fled the scene.

ROBBERIES

MILLBROOK CT., 10 p.m. Nov. 9. A man, 19, gave another man a ride in his vehicle. The passenger and another suspect assaulted the driver, stole property and fled.

NEW FOREST CT., 6000 block, 10:03 p.m. Nov. 13. A robber with a gun attempted to steal money from a man, 51. The man refused. The robber fired a shot into the air and fled.

NORTHGATE DR., 3900 block, 8:30 p.m. Nov. 13. A robber with a gun attempted to steal money from a man, 44. The man refused. After a brief struggle, the robber fled on foot.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

AUDREY MANOR DR., 2300 block, 3 p.m. Nov. 12 to 8:30 a.m. Nov. 15. Twelve metal propane tanks were stolen from a construction site.

WOODVILLE RD., 14900 block, 11:27 p.m. Nov. 9. Money and cigarettes were stolen from Gallant Green Bar. The bar was entered through a window.

ASSAULTS

CHARLOTTE HALL, 8:18 p.m. Nov. 2. A man, 25, allegedly assaulted another man, 23, at the Charlotte Hall Motel. He also damaged the hotel door. He was charged with second-degree assault and malicious destruction of property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CHARLOTTE HALL, Nov. 17. Three men, ages 19, 19 and 22, are accused of breaking into a residence being used as storage for St. Anne's Anglican Catholic Church. Nothing was stolen. They were charged with burglary.

CHARLOTTE HALL, 6:30 a.m. to 5:22 p.m. Nov. 16. License plates were stolen from a vehicle at the Park and Ride lot.

Hollywood Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

HOLLYWOOD, 1 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 16. A door at the Hole in the Wall Tavern was damaged in an attempt to enter the tavern.

Lexington Park Area

ASSAULTS

LEXINGTON PARK, Nov. 17. A girl, 15, is accused of hitting a girl in the face. While she was being arrested, she allegedly bit the officer. She was charged with two counts of second-degree assault and resisting arrest.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

LEXINGTON PARK, Nov. 12. Fifty-four DVDs were stolen from a motel room at the A&E Motel.

Valley Lee Area

SEX OFFENSES

VALLEY LEE, Nov. 12. A man, 44, is accused of having sexual relations with a girl, 15, in July through September. He was charged with one count of third-degree sex offense and one count of child sexual abuse.
