Attack Alleged A Woodbridge hotel clerk was arrested and charged with breaking into a room and attacking a teenage girl, Prince William County police said yesterday.
Michael R. Lewis, 21, of the 15200 block of Brickwood Drive, was charged in the incident Saturday at the Courtyard Marriott in the 14300 block of Crossing Place, police said.
Police said the juvenile was acting as a babysitter for a couple attending a function there. She fought off her attacker, police said.
52 Arrests Police said 52 people were arrested in Fairfax County on drunken driving charges over the Memorial Day weekend, including a woman who slammed into parked police cruisers while officers were arresting another driver.
The arrests were made between Friday and Sunday by various agencies. Early Saturday, officers had stopped a driver on suspicion of being drunk on Route 29 near Interstate 66 when a 2004 BMW steamed toward them. The officers ran as the BMW smashed into one police car, pushing it into another and causing about $20,000 in damage.
Homicide Ruled The death of a homeless man whose body was found in a wooded Manassas area has been ruled a homicide, Prince William County police said yesterday.
The remains of Oscar Maradiaga, 40, were found Sunday in a creek by two people walking near Rosemary and Sudley Manor drives, said department spokeswoman Sgt. Kim Chinn.
Metro Robbery A car was taken at gunpoint early yesterday at the New Carrollton Metro station.
Metro spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein said the vehicle was taken from a woman after she parked it in the garage on the Route 450 side of the station shortly after 5 a.m.
