Homeownership Fair

Saturday in Landover

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission will host a homeownership fair from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex. The program will include workshops on such topics as how to buy a home, mortgages and protecting your investment, and offer pre-purchase counseling with a free credit report. WSSC Receives Awards

For Wastewater Plants

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission announced it has received Peak Performance awards from the National Association of Clean Water Agencies, a national trade association, for "sustained operational excellence" at four wastewater treatment plants in Prince George's and Montgomery counties.

The plants are in Accokeek, Laurel, Gaithersburg and Germantown.

Health Program for Men
