Annapolis Junction Area


JUNCTION DR., 9000 block, 3:12 a.m. May 24. A 1997 Dodge Stratus was stolen.

Clarksville Area


WESTMEATH LANE, 13200 block, 9 p.m. May 18 to 7:15 a.m. May 19. A hand-held electronic music player was stolen from a vehicle parked on a street in front of a residence. A garage door opener inside the vehicle was used to enter the residence's garage. Two vehicles in the garage were entered. Nothing was reported stolen from the vehicles.

WESTMEATH LANE, 13200 block, 9 p.m. May 18 to 7:15 a.m. May 19. A hand-held computer-cell phone was stolen from a vehicle parked in an open residential garage. Two vehicles in the garage were spray-painted.

Columbia Area


CARLINDA AVE. S., 6900 block, 2 to 5:21 p.m. May 20. A male was seen standing in a front doorway exposing himself.


LITTLE PATUXENT PKWY., 10300 block, 10:48 a.m. May 24. A male and a female used a knife to threaten someone and demanded the person's purse. The two fled with the purse in a red or burgundy-colored car.

WANING MOON, 6600 block, 5 p.m. May 19. A male forced a 12-year-old male cyclist from his bike and took the bike. Soon after, the boy recovered the bike.


BALLYMORE LANE, 6500 block, 4:30 to 7:30 a.m. May 24. A laptop computer was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in an open residential garage.

DOBBIN RD., 6400 block, 4:23 a.m. May 22. Cash was stolen from a register at a business entered by smashing a front glass door with a brick.

DOBBIN RD., 6400 block, 4:17 a.m. May 24. A business office was entered by smashing a front door window and ransacked.

GLOUCESTER RD., 5400 block, March 5 to 7:54 p.m. May 20. A minibike and tools were stolen from a shed.

GREEN MOUNTAIN CIR., 10800 block, 9 to 10:30 p.m. May 24. A residence was entered by forcing a rear window open, and car keys and a burgundy 1997 Mercury Mystic were stolen.

HICKORY RIDGE RD., 10400 block, 5:35 a.m. May 22. An apartment was entered through a window. A man, 19, was arrested.

RUTLAND ROUND RD., 10200 block, 6 p.m. May 18 to 7:50 a.m. May 19. A hand-held electronic music player and a musical instrument were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in an open garage.

TAMAR DR., 6000 block, 5 p.m. May 20 to 6 p.m. May 23. A .357-caliber Ruger revolver, coins and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by cutting a front window screen.

WANDERING WAY, 9500 block, 1:05 to 11:15 a.m. May 19. Coins, autographed baseballs and a DVD player were stolen from a residence entered through a first-floor window.


COLUMBIA 100 PKWY., 8800 block, 8:32 a.m. May 18. A gray Yamaha motorcycle was stolen.

COLUMBIA RD., 5100 block, 6:58 a.m. May 16. A 2000 Toyota Solara was stolen.

HARRIET TUBMAN LANE, 7900 block, 1:39 a.m. May 22. A copper-and-tan 1995 Ford F10 truck was stolen.

SNOWDEN RIVER PKWY., 9300 block, 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. May 19. A white 1992 Lexus ES 300 was stolen.

Dayton Area


GREEN BRIDGE RD., 4800 block, 8 p.m. May 17 to 8 a.m. May 18. A .22-caliber Colt target pistol and power tools were stolen from an unlocked detached workshop.

Elkridge Area


WASHINGTON BLVD., 6100 block, May 22 to 10:27 a.m. May 23. A business was entered. Nothing was reported stolen.


MONTGOMERY RD., 7000 block, 11:30 p.m. May 20 to 12:30 a.m. May 21. A green 1994 Nissan Sentra was stolen and later recovered in Baltimore County.

OLD WATERLOO RD., 6800 block, 9 p.m. May 19 to 7 a.m. May 20. A blue 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle was stolen.

OLD WATERLOO RD., 6800 block, 8 p.m. May 19 to 6 a.m. May 20. A red 2004 Honda CBR motorcycle was stolen.

Ellicott City Area


BALTIMORE NATIONAL PIKE, 9:38 p.m. May 18. An employee at a restaurant heard the front door beep and found someone behind a counter trying to open a cash register while a second person held the front door open. The person behind the counter then demanded cash, and the employee refused. The would-be robbers fled. A man, 24, was later arrested.

NORMANDY WOODS DR., 3100 block, 9:15 p.m. May 18. A pizza delivery person made a delivery, returned to a vehicle and attempted to drive out of the area. The delivery person was accosted by a male who implied he had a weapon and demanded cash. The delivery person refused to hand over cash, and the male fled on foot.


WESTMINSTER RD., 2700 block, 7 a.m. May 20. An oven and stove top were stolen from a house under construction.


HALLOWED STREAM, 4600 block, 9:30 p.m. May 18 to 6:30 a.m. May 19. A red-and-white 2002 Honda XR-70R motorcycle was stolen.

Jessup Area


WASHINGTON BLVD., 8000 block, 11:01 a.m. May 19. A male at a hotel counter pulled a black revolver on a clerk and demanded cash. The clerk complied.


ARI CT., 8300 block, May 20 to 11:15 a.m. May 21. A model apartment was entered possibly through a sliding door. Nothing was reported stolen.

MONTEVIDEO RD., 7400 block, 7:30 p.m. May 18 to 7:30 a.m. May 19. Two computer towers and a flat-screen monitor were stolen from a business entered by forcing a front door open.

STAYTON DR., 8300 block, 10:51 a.m. May 22. A trailer was stolen.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 7900 block, 10 p.m. May 17 to 9:30 a.m. May 18. An attempt was made to enter a submarine-sandwich shop by forcing a back door open and attempting to break a front window.


IRON BRIDGE RD., 10600 block, 7:19 a.m. May 19. A 2005 Ford F350 flatbed truck was stolen.

Laurel Area


WASHINGTON BLVD., 9900 block, 10:56 p.m. May 23. Three males asked a male motorist for a ride and assaulted him when the motorist refused. The assailants attempted to take the motorist's wallet but were unsuccessful. The motorist's cell phone was taken, and the robbers fled in a white older-model vehicle.


DONAN CASTLE CT., 9500 block, 7:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 19. An attempt was made to enter a residence by removing a front storm door open and forcing a main door open.


RIVERBRINK CT., 9400 block, 6:03 a.m. May 23. A Suzuki LTZ400 all-terrain vehicle was stolen from the bed of a truck.
