The following were among incidents reported recently by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office and the Middleburg and Purcellville police departments. WINDMILL DR., 21000 block, 4 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. May 30. Food and a public address system were stolen from a concession stand, and a door and a lock were damaged.
MAPLE AVE. N., 200 block, May 26. Property was stolen.
16TH ST. N., 100 block, May 22. A vehicle was damaged.
CHURCH RD. W., 200 block, 5 p.m. May 28 to 5:30 p.m. May 29. A school was entered. A window and a bookcase were damaged.
CHURCH RD. W., 600 block, 12:22 p.m. May 27. A man who appeared to be selling equipment from the trunk of a vehicle attempted to flee when approached by police. Police learned the vehicle was stolen from Fairfax County and contained unopened construction items. A 50-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with possession of stolen property, possession of a stolen vehicle and obstruction of justice and had a previous warrant for a parole violation. The man was transported to Inova Loudoun Hospital after complaining of chest pains. He was treated and released into custody of the Loudoun Adult Detention Center.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS
AUGUSTA DR., 21000 block, 6:30 to 10 p.m. May 31. A gold 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer Gala was stolen from a parking lot.
BROOKMEADE COURT, 8 p.m. May 27 to 7:25 a.m. May 28. A trailer was stolen. It had been parked on a roadside.
MERRY OAK WAY, ASHBURN ROAD, CHAMPIONSHIP PLACE AND FLUSHING MEADOWS COURT, 9:30 to 11:17 p.m. May 27. A window at a residence and several vehicle windows were damaged by pellets from a BB gun.
