The Pixies

Merriweather Post Pavilion continues its summer lineup with alternative rockers the Pixies, who were popular in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The band, which split up in 1991, reunited to begin touring again last year. The concert will also feature performances by Bloc Party and the BellRays. 5:30 p.m. Monday. Relay for Life

The annual overnight fundraiser for the American Cancer Society will take place tomorrow and Saturday. Teams of eight to 15 people will camp out all night, enjoying music, dancing and games as they take turns walking around the track at Hammond High School, 8800 Guilford Rd., Columbia. Opening ceremonies begin at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow with guest speaker Eric Reisman, a 16-year cancer survivor. Throughout the night the track will be lit with luminarias representing donations in honor of someone living with cancer or who has died from the disease.
