Hotel Robberies D.C. police are investigating the armed robberies of six employees of hotels in Northwest Washington since mid-April, authorities said yesterday. A guest also was robbed.

The robberies occurred at the Embassy Suites Hotel in the 1200 block of 22nd Street NW; the River Inn in the 900 block 25th Street NW; the Days Inn in the 4000 block of Connecticut Avenue NW; the Comfort Inn in the 1200 block of 13th Street NW; Jurys Washington Hotel in the 1500 block of New Hampshire Avenue NW; the Tabard Inn in the 1700 block of N Street NW; and the Hotel Rouge in the 1300 block of 16th Street NW.

Police said the man used a dark-colored handgun in six robberies and a knife in the other. He wore dark clothing and a ski mask or a scarf. Police ask anyone with information to call them at 202-727-9099.


Stabbing Arrest A man was arrested in the stabbing last week of man at White Flint Mall in North Bethesda.

Police said Christopher In Paek, 21, is being held in Fairfax County, where he lives, and is awaiting extradition to Maryland. He faces charges including attempted murder and assault in the stabbing of a 19-year-old man Friday at Dave and Buster's.

Investigators said the victim and suspect know each other.
