THEFTS/BREAK-INS

GLITTERING LIGHT LANE, 6400 block, 10 p.m. May 25 to 6:15 a.m. May 26. A lime-green moped was stolen from an open garage.

Columbia Area

ROBBERIES

HICKORY LOG CIR., 7400 block, 1:45 p.m. May 30. A male was assaulted and robbed of a wallet and a cell phone.

LITTLE PATUXENT PKWY., 10300 block, 9:49 a.m. May 27. Two people grabbed a purse from a female and struggled with her, then fled in a van. Two people were later involved in a motor vehicle accident in Anne Arundel County and were arrested in connection with the incident.

STEVENS FOREST RD., 5800 block, 10:19 p.m. May 28. Two males pushed a male to the ground and took his minibike. The bike was later recovered in the area.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CENTRE PARK DR., 8700 block, 12:47 a.m. May 31. An attempt was made to enter a restaurant by forcing front doors and a back service door.

CLARKSVILLE PIKE, 10400 block, 5:12 a.m. May 31. Cash was stolen from a register at a wine bar entered by breaking a front-door window with a rock. An office was ransacked.

KEEPSAKE WAY, 9400 block, 11 a.m. May 31. A male resident awakened at a residence and saw a person standing in a bedroom doorway. The person asked, "Is Jay here?" The resident chased the person out of house down a bike path. The residence had been entered by cutting a screen. Nothing was reported stolen.

LITTLE PATUXENT PKWY., 12200 block, 3:38 p.m. May 25. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a sliding door.

SETTING SUN WAY, 7400 block, noon to 5 p.m. May 20. Electronic equipment was stolen from a residence entered possibly through an unlocked basement sliding back door.

STEVENS FOREST RD., 5800 block, 7:16 p.m. May 26. A resident returned home and found an acquaintance inside the residence entered with a key. Nothing was reported stolen.

SUMMER PARK CT., 9700 block, 9:10 a.m. May 31. A resident saw a person wearing gloves and dressed in all black at a basement sliding door. Nothing was reported stolen.

GENTLE SHADE, 7000 block, 6:26 a.m. June 1. A dark green Honda Civic was stolen.

MINSTREL WAY, 7100 block, 12:55 p.m. May 26. A 1994 Dodge van was stolen.

SNOWDEN RIVER PKWY., 9000 block, 4:01 p.m. May 26. A white Chrysler was stolen.

WINCOPIN CIR., 10200 block, 4:10 p.m. May 26. A white 1989 Plymouth Sundance was stolen.

ROBBERIES

WATERLOO RD., 6500 block, 9:39 a.m. May 31. Two males in the front office area of a grocery store forced an employee into the office and demanded cash. A manager entered the office and was forced to open a safe. The robbers took cash and fled.

HUNTSHIRE DR., 6500 block, 11:20 a.m. May 26. A male attempted to enter a residence by forcing a sliding glass door, then fled when he was seen by a neighbor.

OLD WATERLOO RD., 6500 block, 1:18 a.m. May 27. Cigarettes were stolen from a liquor store entered by smashing a front window with a rock.

REILLE DR., 6500 block, 9 p.m. May 25. A "chopper style" minibike was stolen from a shed entered by breaking a lock.

REILLE DR., 6500 block, 8 p.m. May 22 to 5:30 p.m. May 25. A minibike was stolen from a shed entered by breaking a lock.

REILLE DR., 6500 block, 7:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. May 26. A mobile home was entered by forcing a back door. Nothing was reported stolen.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

ARBOR WAY, 6300 block, overnight, May 29 to May 30. A red 1999 Acura Integra was stolen. The vehicle was recovered in Prince Georges County stripped of wheels, seats and engine parts.

ROUTE 100, 7000 block, 3:17 p.m. May 25. An attempt was made to steal a green Jeep Cherokee.

WATERLOO RD., 7100 block, 12:08 a.m. May 26. A white 1989 Dodge Caravan was stolen.

Ellicott City Area

MAIN ST., 8100 block, May 25 to May 30. Cash was stolen from a register at a business entered by force using a crowbar.

OLD ANNAPOLIS RD., 9400 block, 3:13 a.m. May 31. A sweatshirt was stolen from a display at a restaurant entered through a roof vent.

ROCKBURN DR., 7800 block, 5:27 p.m. May 26. Two juveniles entered a partially open garage and stole a 21-speed Mongoose bicycle. Two juveniles were later arrested.

ROUTE 40, 9300 block, 11 p.m. May 30 to 9:30 a.m. May 31. A safe was stolen from a submarine sandwich shop entered by cutting through a wall in a common area.

TALBOTS LANDING, 5100 block, 8:30 to 9 p.m. May 27. A digital camera and a laptop computer were stolen from a residence entered through a door that may have been unlocked.

MANOR LANE, 3400 block, 7:39 a.m. May 25. A 1982 Ford E150 van was stolen.

LIME KILN RD., 12400 block, 9 p.m. May 29. Two people visiting a male acquaintance and a female resident robbed the couple of cash at gunpoint. One of the robbers also had an electronic stun gun.

Glenwood Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CATTAIL CREEK DR., 3600 block, 2:02 to 6:20 a.m. May 29. A shop at a country club was entered by forcing a front door. Nothing was reported stolen.

ROUTE 97, 3800 block, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 31. Cash was stolen from a Sunday school building of a church, entered by breaking a glass window.

Jessup Area

INDECENT EXPOSURE

ROUTE 1, 7600 block, 8:54 p.m. May 31. A man urinated on a sidewalk and exposed himself to a female. A man, age 38, of Prince Frederick was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

FAIRHAVEN PL., 8700 block, May 15 to May 27. A red Honda ATV was stolen from a shed entered by removing a lock.

GLEN CT., 8200 block, 10:30 a.m. to 6:50 p.m. May 28. A wallet was stolen from a kitchen table and a wallet was stolen from a purse in a kitchen at a residence entered through an unlocked side door while residents were in the back yard.

STAYTON DR., 8200 block, 11:30 a.m. May 27 to 7:30 a.m. May 31. A warehouse was entered by knocking a lock box off a back door and removing a key.

WELLINGTON PL., 8200 block, 6:44 p.m. May 27. A purse was stolen from a kitchen at a residence.

WELLINGTON PL., 8200 block, 11:10 p.m. May 31 to 1:10 a.m. June 1. A male resident investigated a loud noise inside a residence and discovered his wallet was missing. The residence was entered through an unlocked sliding back door.

WILLOWWOOD WAY, 8800 block, 12:01 a.m. May 30. A resident in the basement area of the residence heard a loud noise from upstairs and went to investigate. A purse was stolen. The residence was entered through a sliding glass door. The purse was recovered nearby with its contents inside.

GUILFORD RD., 10500 block, 11:15 a.m. May 25. A construction company vehicle was stolen.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

HARMONY LANE, 9900 block, 8 a.m. to 7:10 p.m. May 26. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a basement window.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

CANTERBURY RIDING, 9100 block, 9:07 p.m. May 24. A 1994 BMW 325i sedan was stolen and later recovered in Prince Georges County.

Mount Airy Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

FREDERICK RD., 17000 block, 11:15 p.m. May 28 to 8:30 a.m. May 31. Cash and music CDs were stolen from a restaurant entered through a screened front window.

RIDGE RD., 1000 block, 12:30 to 10 a.m. May 31. Cash was stolen from a business entered by smashing a window with a rock.
