Dimensions Healthcare System has named G.T. Dunlop Ecker president and chief executive officer. Ecker has served as president of Greater Southeast Community Hospital and Washington Hospital Center and most recently as an interim chief executive officer at several hospitals around the country. Ecker has taken over for interim President Tony Jones. Jones replaced Patrick F. Mutch, who resigned in September.
Dimensions, a nonprofit health care system in Prince George's County, includes Prince George's Hospital Center, Laurel Regional Hospital, Gladys Spellman Specialty Hospital and Nursing Center and the Bowie Health Campus.
Rockville resident Marc P. Lieber has been named chairman of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission for a one-year term. Lieber, president of management consulting firm ProFicient Technologies Inc., served as chairman of the Patuxent River Commission. He was appointed to the commission from Montgomery County in December and reappointed in May.
Prem P. Agarwal of Mitchellville, a commissioner since 2003, was named vice chairman of the commission for a one-year term. Agarwal is president of G.E. Frisco Co. Inc. in Upper Marlboro. The commission is made up of three residents of Montgomery County and three from Prince George's County.
