Player of the Year

MEGAN BOSICA, Mount Hebron, Jr.

The All-Met Player of the Year led the top-ranked Vikings to their ninth consecutive state title and fourth consecutive undefeated season by posting 65 goals, 31 assists, 51 ground balls and 17 interceptions.

Bosica was at her best in big games, recording 9 goals and 4 assists collectively in victories against teams ranked in the top 10 nationally -- St. Stephen's/St. Agnes, St. Mary's-Annapolis and Moorestown, N.J. Bosica, whose team finished the regular season with a national-record 79-game winning streak, has 152 goals and 65 assists over three seasons.

Coach of the Year

BROOKE KUHL-MCCLELLAND, Mount Hebron

All-Met Coach of the Year has not experienced defeat in her four years leading the Vikings. Her top-ranked team finished this season 19-0, winning the Maryland 3A/2A championship. The Vikings, 74-0 under Kuhl-McClelland, outscored the opposition 365-53 this season to finish atop The Post's rankings for the fourth consecutive season. Kuhl-McClelland had nine seniors who received lacrosse scholarships to play for Division I schools next year and has sent 43 players to Division I schools during her tenure.

First Team

ALY BLUM, Glenelg, Sr.: All-Met defender scooped 94 ground balls but also figured heavily in the team's offensive scheme by posting 19 goals and 18 assists. Will play for Ohio University.

TERRI COOVER, Glenelg, Sr.: All-Met midfielder had 58 goals, 48 assists, 51 ground balls and 23 draw controls to lead her team to its first 2A/1A title. Will play for Virginia Tech.

JACKIE DOHERTY, Mount Hebron, Soph.: Defender scooped a team-high 59 ground balls to go along with 8 goals and 6 assists.

MERISSA EIDE, Mount Hebron, Sr.: Defender recorded 38 ground balls and eight interceptions. Will play for Vanderbilt.

JACQUELINE GILES Mount Hebron, Soph.: Midfielder recorded 45 goals, 15 assists and 48 ground balls.

SUZY HERLIHY, River Hill, Sr.: Goalie saved 168 of 270 shots (62 percent), including 21 of 35 against top-ranked Mount Hebron. Will play for Delaware.

ASHLEY HILL, Howard, Sr.: Midfielder posted 67 goals, 12 assists and 23 ground balls to lead her team to a record of 10-7. Will play for University of Maryland Baltimore County.

CASSIE KRAUSE, Mount Hebron, Sr.: Midfielder had 34 goals, 8 assists, 40 ground balls and 13 interceptions. Will play for Towson.

GINNA LANCE, Mount Hebron, Sr.: All-Met midfielder forced a team-high 25 interceptions to go along with 20 goals, 3 assists and 51 ground balls. Will play for the University of Pennsylvania.

ALEX McCLAMMER, Mount Hebron, Sr.: Attacker posted 45 goals, 10 assists and 29 ground balls. Will play for Delaware.

CHELSEA PARKS, Centennial, Sr.: Midfielder had 43 goals, 38 assists, 59 ground balls and 21 draw controls. Will play for North Carolina.

JESSICA STURGILL, Centennial, Jr.: Attacker had 32 goals, 33 assists, 29 ground balls and 6 interceptions.

MARY CLARE TAYLOR, Mount Hebron, Sr.: Attacker recorded 12 goals, 11 assists and 17 ground balls. Will play for Loyola.

MEG TAYLOR, Mount Hebron, Sr.: Attacker posted 48 goals, 9 assists and 43 ground balls. Will play for Loyola.
