Fatal Shooting A man was fatally shot in the head last night near an automotive shop in Northeast Washington, D.C. police said.
The victim, whose name was not released, was found by officers in the 2100 block of Rhode Island Avenue about 7:30 p.m. The man was taken to Washington Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead.
An argument over work done on an automobile may have preceded the shooting, police said. Witnesses gave investigators the license plate number of a vehicle seen in the area around the time of the shooting, and police were investigating last night.
