MOUNT VERNON AVE., 1000 block, 7:17 p.m. June 14. A group of males punched a boy, 13, then knocked him down and kicked him. The assailants fled. The boy was treated at a hospital.
VAN DORN ST. S., 500 block, 7:15 p.m. June 13. A male entered a gas station and robbed a male clerk, 43, of cash at gunpoint. The robber fled with another male.
WASHINGTON ST. S., 1200 block, 9:53 a.m. June 12. A male grabbed a woman, 25, in a parking lot, pushed her down and robbed her of a wallet, then fled in a vehicle. The woman was treated a hospital.
WEST ST. N., 700 block, 2:45 a.m. June 12. Two males robbed a man, 24, of a wallet at gunpoint.
BEAUREGARD ST. N., 1100 block, 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 8. Cash, clothing and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a door.
BEAUREGARD ST. N., 1100 block, 9 a.m. to 4:11 p.m. June 8. Electronic games and DVDs were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a door.
BEAUREGARD ST. N., 2200 block, 7 p.m. June 12 to 8 a.m. June 13. Computer equipment and other items were stolen from a church.
BRADDOCK RD. E., 500 block, 3 to 4 a.m. June 10. A resident awoke after hearing someone enter the resident's home through a front door. The intruder left a short time later. Nothing was reported missing.
DAWES AVE., 5200 block, 4 p.m. June 9 to 8:45 a.m. June 10. A business was entered by forcing a window, and offices were ransacked. Nothing was reported missing.
ECHOLS AVE., 5000 block, 8:30 p.m. June 7 to 6:04 a.m. June 8. A cell phone was stolen from a residence.
KING ST., 4400 block, 3:56 to 4:23 a.m. June 12. Cash was stolen from a business.
LINDEN ST. E., 1 to 100 block, 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. June 6. Cash, electronic equipment and jewelry were stolen from a residence.
NELSON AVE. E., 200 block, 1:15 to 1:32 p.m. June 9. A lawn mower was stolen from a shed. An Alexandria man, 48, was charged with burglary.
ROSEMONT AVE. W., 1 to 100 block, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. June 7. Cash was stolen from a residence.
WASHINGTON ST. N., 100 block, 6:30 to 6:37 a.m. June 9. A business was entered by breaking a door. Nothing was reported missing. Police stopped a male nearby on suspicion of public drunkenness and charged him with burglary.

DUKE ST., 5000 block, 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. June 13. A red 2004 Toyota Tacoma pickup was stolen.
DUKE ST., 5400 block, 11 p.m. June 9 to 9:30 a.m. June 10. A dark green 1995 Honda Accord was stolen.
DUKE ST., 5400 block, 3 p.m. June 9 to 1:34 p.m. June 10. A green 2000 Ford Windstar van was stolen.
JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY., 3500 block, 11:45 a.m. to 2:41 p.m. June 9. A white 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup was stolen.
REED AVE. W., 1 to 100 block, 6:30 p.m. June 13 to 8 a.m. June 14. A red 1997 Plymouth Breeze was stolen.
ROANOKE AVE., 5400 block, 9:30 p.m. June 13 to 7:30 a.m. June 14. A green 1998 Jeep Cherokee was stolen.
SOMERVELLE ST., 100 block, 2 p.m. June 11 to 7:30 p.m. June 12. A red 1994 Acura Integra was stolen.

COLUMBIA PIKE, 2900 block, 7:25 p.m. June 13. Daniel A. Lopez, 39, of Alexandria was fatally shot in a parking lot behind several businesses.
CATHEDRAL LANE N., 3900 block, 4:25 to 4:35 p.m. June 8. A male armed with a knife grabbed a woman's head. The woman broke free, reportedly uninjured, and the male walked away. An Arlington male, 51, was charged with assault and battery.
WILSON BLVD. N., 6000 block, 6:20 to 6:30 p.m. June 8. Two males were assaulted by a group at a community pool.
THOMAS ST. N., 300 block, 9:35 p.m. June 8. Two males knocked a person down and took property.
COLUMBIA PIKE S., 3800 block, 12:30 to 4 p.m. June 9. Cash and other items were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a window.
IVY ST. N., 600 block, 1:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 6. Electronic equipment was stolen from a residence.
22ND ST. S., 1500 block, 1:30 to 5:55 a.m. June 7. A male entered a residence by breaking a window and threatened the occupants with a handsaw. A District male, 26, was charged with burglary, abduction and attempted malicious wounding.
25TH RD. N., 3700 block. A license plate was stolen.
