SEXUAL ASSAULTS

GERMANTOWN AREA, 9 p.m. May 28. A Germantown girl, 15, was raped by two males in an apartment. An investigation was continuing.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

COOL BROOK LANE, 13200 block, June 3. A man, 42, of no fixed address was charged with burglary in connection with an incident that occurred at this location.

KINGSVIEW RD., 18900 block, June 8. A Germantown man, 18, was charged with second- and fourth-degree burglary, malicious destruction of property over $500, theft under $500, trespassing, possession of burglar tools, and obstructing and hindering in connection with an incident at this location.

SHELLDRAKE CIR., 10000 block, 11:30 p.m. June 2 to 11:50 a.m. June 4. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Montgomery Village/ Gaithersburg District

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

GAITHERSBURG AREA, June 7. A Gaithersburg woman, 50, said that a male acquaintance had been sexually assaulting her since June 2004. An investigation was continuing.

GAITHERSBURG AREA, June 10. A Montgomery Village man, 19, was sexually assaulted in his bedroom by a roommate. An investigation was continuing.

ROBBERIES

APPLE RIDGE ROAD AND APPLE RIDGE PLACE, 2:20 p.m. June 7. Six males got into an argument with four Montgomery Village males, three 16-year-olds and one 19-year-old. The fight became physical and attempts were made to take property from two of the Montgomery Village victims. The victims were able to break loose and the assailants fled into the woods. An investigation was continuing.

CLUBHOUSE ROAD AND RIDGELINE DRIVE, 2:30 p.m. June 6. Two men on a bus refused to give a cell phone back to a 16-year-old passenger. After hitting him on the head, they got off the bus, the phone with them.

LOST KNIFE CIR., 18300 block, 10 p.m. May 27. An acquaintance of a Gaithersburg woman, 44, grabbed her purse and ran into an apartment building. An investigation was continuing.

QUINCE ORCHARD BLVD., 700 block, 10:47 p.m. June 10. A gunman threatened a pizza deliveryman, then fled when a passerby yelled.

QUINCE ORCHARD RD., 500 block, 11:28 a.m. June 2. Two gunmen robbed a bank and fled out the back of the building.

ASSAULTS

LOST KNIFE CIR., 18300 block, 10:21 p.m. June 3. A motorist driving a vehicle in reverse, struck a Germantown man, 21, in the leg and then left the scene. The identity of the driver is known and an investigation was continuing.

MUDDY BRANCH RD., 400 block, 1 a.m. June 5. Two men attacked a pedestrian, 29, and hit him over the head with a bottle. He was treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

MUDDY BRANCH RD., 800 block, 9 p.m. June 8. An acquaintance of a Gaithersburg man, 18, threatened him with a knife and chased him. No injuries were reported.

ASSAULTS

ROCKVILLE PIKE AND SECURITY LANE, June 7. A Fairfax man, 21, was charged with attempted first-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, and use of a deadly weapon in connection with an incident at this location on June 3.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

SILVER SPRING AREA, May 30 to June 5. A Silver Spring woman, 76, was sexually assaulted several times by a male while she was a patient at a nursing and rehabilitation facility. An investigation was continuing.

SILVER SPRING AREA, 9:35 p.m. June 9. A Silver Spring woman, 44, said that she was raped on five occasions between Jan. 10 and April 12 by the father of a child she was babysitting.

ROBBERIES

EAST-WEST HIGHWAY AND GRUBB ROAD, 8:15 p.m. June 11. A male at a bus stop grabbed the purse of a 22-year-old woman, who fought back. The assailant fled in an awaiting black Nissan Maxima.

GARLAND AND DOMER AVENUES, 1:43 p.m. June 7. Four men chased two Silver Spring men, 18 and 22, catching the younger man. They hit him and kicked him and took his necklace, then fled a blue 1991 Ford Taurus with DC tags.

LOCKWOOD DR., 11500 block, 11 p.m. June 6. A gunman and an accomplice robbed a Silver Spring pedestrian, 31, of her purse. The assailants fled in a vehicle.

STEWART LANE, 11600 block, 3:40 p.m. June 5. A gunman and an accomplice took cash from a Silver Spring man, 22, sitting on his porch.

ASSAULTS

GRACEFIELD RD., 2900 block, 11:40 p.m. June 4. Several unknown men went to a house hosting a birthday party. Two teenagers, a Silver Spring girl, 14, and a Burtonsville boy, 16, were shot and a Silver Spring man, 19, and a Burtonsville boy, 13, were assaulted. The victims were treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

BILTMORE RD., 9400 block,.7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. June 8. An attempt was made to break into a residence.

BLACKBURN LANE, 3900 block, 4 p.m. June 7 to 10 a.m. June 8. Property was stolen from a business entered by force.

BROOKVILLE RD., 9100 block, 11:37 p.m. June 7. A Lanham man, 41, and a Temple Hills man, 40, were charged with second- and fourth-degree burglary, fourth-degree theft, theft over $500, malicious destruction of property over $500 and five counts of conspiracy in connection with an incident at this location.

MARTINS LANE, 300 block, 4:10 to 5:50 p.m. June 6. A pair of shorts containing a wallet with cash, a driver's license and a debit card were stolen from an unlocked locker.

MARTINS LANE, 300 block, 4:30 p.m. June 12. A set of car keys was stolen from a locker. The keys were used to enter a car, from which cash and a watch were stolen.

MARYLAND AVE., 100 block, 12:50 a.m. June 11. A cell phone was stolen from an occupied vehicle.

MONROE ST., 100 block, 11:46 p.m. June 1. A computer device was stolen from an office building.

NATURE LANE, 400 block, 8 p.m. June 6 to 6 a.m. June 7. An attempt was made to steal a refrigerator from a residence under construction.

REDLAND BLVD., 400 block, 11:15 a.m. June 6. An unattended cell phone was stolen from a grocery store.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 200 block, 3:30 to 5:10 p.m. June 11. A pair of binoculars, a

camera and a cell phone were stolen from a vehicle.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1600 block, 6:20 p.m. May 31. A Silver Spring man, 19, was charged with shoplifting in connection with an incident at this location.
