Two-time All-Extra recorded 236 saves and had a 70.7 save percentage to lead Woodbridge to a 16-4 record and the Northwestern Region title game.

Cardinal District player of the year will play for Hobart College in New York.

Boys' Coach of the Year

Rodney Cornell, Osbourn Park

First-year coach inherited a team that lost 18 seniors and guided it to the Cedar Run District title and a berth in the Northwestern Region semifinals.

Osbourn Park finished 15-2 and was undefeated in the district.

Boys' First Team

A Tommy Heberer, Woodbridge, Sr. -- Tallied 43 goals and 38 assists for the Vikings. Also recorded 83 ground balls. Will play at Lynchburg College.

A Josh Lee, Stonewall Jackson, Sr. -- Led the Cedar Run runners-up with 51 goals and added 52 ground balls and seven assists. Will attend the University of Virginia.

A Stephen Vu, Osbourn Park, Fr. -- Scored 55 goals and added 10 assists to help lead the Yellow Jackets to the best record in school history (15-2).

MF Dan Bamford, Woodbridge, Sr. -- Repeat All-Extra led the Cardinal District champs with 54 goals, 24 assists and 77 groundballs. Will play at Siena College in New York.

MF Nathan Eldredge, Osbourn, Sr. -- Recorded 33 goals and 133 groundballs for the Eagles, both team highs. Also added 12 assists. Will play at the Air Force Academy.

MF Ryan Otterblad, Forest Park, Sr. -- Repeat All-Extra led Bruins with 55 goals, 27 assists and 67 ground balls. Will play at Wingate University in North Carolina.

MF Josh Reed, Osbourn Park, Sr. -- Scored 40 goals and added 69 ground balls for the Cedar Run District champs. Will play at Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia.

MF Ryan Verrilli, Stonewall Jackson, Sr. -- Repeat All-Extra had 37 goals, 31 assists and 101 ground balls. Cedar Run player of the year. Will play at Limestone College in South Carolina.

D Erick Balish, Forest Park, Sr. -- Repeat All-Extra had 44 ground balls and 26 takeaways for region quarterfinalists. Will play at Valley Forge Military Academy and College in Pennsylvania.

D Nick Lynch, Osbourn Park, Sr. -- Tallied 55 ground balls and 39 takeaways for the Yellow Jackets. Will play at Christopher Newport University.

D Tim Wolff, Woodbridge, Sr. -- Had 66 ground balls and 53 takeaways as Vikings won fourth straight Cardinal District title. Will play at Lynchburg College.
