A Allison Coates, Osbourn, Sr. -- Led Eagles with 42 goals, including season-high five in Cedar Run tournament victory over Battlefield. Will attend George Mason University.

A Megan Ebling, Gar-Field, Jr. -- With 42 goals, accounted for nearly 60 percent of the scoring for the winless Indians.

A Shayna Sargent, Osbourn Park, Sr. -- Repeat All-Extra had 60 goals, 52 assists and 70 ground balls. Will play at Christopher Newport University.

MF Megan Behrle, Stonewall Jackson, Sr. -- School's athlete of the year had 52 goals and 33 assists. Will play field hockey and lacrosse at Sweet Briar College.

MF Allison Hess, Potomac, Jr. -- Team captain tallied 54 goals this season after scoring just four as a sophomore. Added 91 ground balls and 32 takeaways.

MF Kerry Shannon, Osbourn Park, Jr. -- Repeat All-Extra had 32 goals, 13 assists, 80 ground balls and 35 takeaways.

MF Heather Wheelock, Hylton, Sr. -- Cardinal District player of the year scored 26goals, five of them in Bulldogs' 11-10 win over Forest Park in the district title game.

D Allison Andresen, Osbourn Park, Sr. -- Repeat All-Extra had 77 ground balls and 69 takeaways. Will attend the University of Virginia.

D Geraldine Galdamez, Stonewall Jackson, Jr. -- Repeat All-Extra helped lead Raiders to 13-4 record with 62 ground balls and 48 interceptions.

D Cindy Southard, Forest Park, Sr. -- Team captain led team in takeaways to help Bruins to Cardinal District regular season title. Will attend Virginia Tech.

GK Danielle Shields, Osbourn Park, Jr. -- Recorded 129 saves and had 60.3 save percentage. Saved 12 shots in the district championship victory against Stonewall Jackson.

Cedar Run District player of the year will play at Pfeiffer University in North Carolina.

Girls' Coach of the Year

Repeat All-Extra coach of the year, in her fourth season, led Yellow Jackets to the best start in the program's six-year history, winning 15 consecutive games until a 10-9 loss at Albemarle in the Northwestern Region final.

Team defended its Cedar Run District regular season and tournament titles.
