ASHBURN RD., 20000 block, 11:15 p.m. June 16. A man fled after removing money from an open cash register at a convenience store.

HIGHLAND VISTA DR., 19000 block, 8:12 p.m. June 15. Two men trying to enter an office building fled when confronted.


CLIVEDON CT., 43000 block, 8 p.m. June 21 to 5:30 a.m. June 22. Graffiti was painted on a vehicle.

Leesburg Area


GATEWAY DR. SE, 700 block, 4:13 p.m. June 18. Police responded to an argument at a residence.

PATRICE DR. SE, 600 block, 8:48 p.m. June 16. Telephone threats were reported at a residence.

PLAZA ST. NE, 1-100 block, 3:58 p.m. June 17. Police responded to a report of an assault.

STALLION SQ. NE, 300 block, 5:36 p.m. June 17. Telephone harassment was reported at a residence.


FIELDSTONE DR. NE, 700 block, 9:04 p.m. June 18. A gunman robbed a pizza deliveryman of cash in a stairwell at an apartment complex. The assailant fled with a man who was waiting outside.


BURROWS CT. NE, 800 block, 11:50 p.m. June 21. Beer was stolen from a residence.

EDWARDS FERRY RD. NE, 900 block, 5:05 p.m. June 18. A customer at a service station drove away without paying for gas.

HAGUE DR. SW, 1000 block, 8 p.m. June 17. A mountain bike was stolen from a residence.

HANCOCK PL. NE, 100 block, 4:45 p.m. June 22. A vehicle stopped in front of a man driving alone. Three people got out and tried to rob the motorist of his car, but the man shifted into reverse and left the area.

HUNTMASTER TERR. NE, 1000 block, 10 p.m. June 22. A vehicle license plate and a fog light cover were stolen.


CATOCTIN CIR. SE, 200 block, 9:17 a.m. June 20. Two vehicles were scratched at a car dealership.

CLUBHOUSE DR. SW, 100 block, 1:19 p.m. June 17. A coin-operated washing machine was damaged.

FORT EVANS RD. NE, 600 block, 1:30 p.m. June 21. Eggs were thrown at a vehicle.

HOWITZER TERR. NE, 600 block, 8:42 a.m. June 16. An air-conditioning unit was damaged at a residence.

SHIRLEY SQUARE AREA, 7:22 p.m. June 20. Ten vehicles were scratched and damaged.

SUNSET VIEW TERR. SE, 500 block, 7:22 p.m. June 20. A vehicle window and a tailgate were scratched.

VANDERBILT TERR. SE, 700 block, 5:23 p.m. June 17. A vehicle tire was punctured.

Lovettsville Area


BERLIN TPK., 11000 block, 11 a.m. to 6 pm. June 22. A pit bull was stolen from an unlocked residence.

MILLTOWN RD., 14000 block, 11:40 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 18. A lawn tractor was stolen from the end of a driveway at a residence.

Potomac Falls Area


MEADOW RIDGE CT., 47000 block, June 15. A mountain bike was stolen from a garage.

WATERFALL BRANCH TERR., 20000 block, 8 a.m. June 14 to 11:30 a.m. June 19. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

South Riding Area


DONERAILS CHASE DR., 25000 block, 9:30 p.m. June 15 to 8 a.m. June 16. A dishwasher and other appliances were stolen from a house under construction, and wooden floors and carpets were damaged.

LONGACRE DR., 42000 block, June 18 to June 19. Three appliances were stolen from a house under construction.

PARAMOUNT PL., 43000 block, 7:15 a.m. June 15. A CD player-radio was stolen from a vehicle. The vehicle's steering column and ignition were damaged.

Sterling Area


CORNELL DR. E., 400 block, 4:52 a.m. June 22. A CD player was stolen from a vehicle.

LOCOMOTIVE TERR., 21000 block, 6 p.m. June 21 to 6:45 a.m. June 22. A cordless drill and a saw were stolen from a vehicle, and a door was damaged.

MONARCH DR., 1 to 100 block, 6 p.m. June 21 to 7:40 a.m. June 22. Stereo equipment was stolen from a vehicle.

STERLING BLVD. N., 1000 block, 7:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. June 21. Jewelry was stolen from a residence that was entered through a back door.

SUGARLAND RD., 46000 block, 10 p.m. June 20 to 5:30 a.m. June 21. A check, a tent and a CD player were stolen from an office at a community pool.


WRIGHTWOOD PL., 100 block 6 p.m. June 21 to 8 p.m. June 22. A 1992 Toyota Corolla was stolen from a residence.
