Installs New President
Kathleen M. Smith has been inaugurated president and chief executive of the Prince George's Chamber of Commerce. Smith succeeds Wendi M. Williams, who resigned in December.
Formerly chief of staff of the Catholic Health Association of the United States, Smith has operated her own nonprofit management and ethics firm, Smith Associates, since 1999. She is on the faculty of Goucher College in Baltimore and is a graduate of the College of Notre Dame of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University.

To Offer Sales Tips
The Baltimore/Washington Corridor Chamber of Commerce will hold a seminar providing advice for professional salespeople from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. July 13. The program is free for members and $20 for nonmembers. It will be held at the organization's office at 312 Marshall Ave., Suite 104, Laurel. For more information, call 301-725-4000.
