HOMICIDES

14TH ST., 2500 block, 1:52 a.m. June 12. Michael West, 24, of the 600 block of Edgewood Terrace NE, was found in a parking lot with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to the D.C. Medical Examiner's Office, where he was pronounced dead.

50TH ST., 1200 block, 2:40 p.m. June 13. Edward Davis, 21, of the 1800 block of Deanwood Drive, Fairmount Heights, was found on a street with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Prince George's County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:43 p.m.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

MINNESOTA AVE., 4000 block, 8:30 to 11:45 a.m. June 14. Three males forced a female into a vehicle, drove to another location and sexually assaulted her.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 1400 block, 2:35 to 2:40 p.m. June 10. A sexual assault occurred in a parking area.

ROBBERIES

CLAY ST., 5200 block, 1:15 a.m. June 11. A gunman robbed three pedestrians of cash.

CONSTITUTION AVE., 1200 block, 11 p.m. June 11. Two males robbed a female of a purse at a school.

GALES ST., 1700 block, 11:45 p.m. June 9. A male assaulted a male pedestrian and demanded property. The pedestrian said he had none, and a struggle ensued.

GRANT PL., 3700 block, 12:25 a.m. June 16. A gunman got out of a vehicle, robbed a female driver of keys and fled in her vehicle.

HAYES ST., 3500 block, 2:35 to 2:40 p.m. June 16. A gunman assaulted a male in a residence and robbed him of cash.

K ST., 1600 block, 5:20 p.m. June 14. A male with a knife demanded cash from a female in a residence. No further information was provided by police.

KENILWORTH AVE., 1500 block, 5:30 to 5:35 a.m. June 10. A gunman and a male accomplice got out of a vehicle at a gas station and robbed a male motorist of a wallet containing credit cards.

MONTELLO AND MOUNT OLIVET ROADS, 3:45 to 4:09 a.m. June 5. A robbery occurred.

MORSE ST., 300 block, 11:05 a.m. June 10. Cash was stolen from the purse of a female at a food market.

QUINCY PL., 100 block, 3:30 p.m. May 15. A male assaulted a male pedestrian and robbed him of a wallet containing cash and a bank card.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 2300 block, 8:25 to 8:35 a.m. June 14. A gunman demanded cash from a department store employee. The employee complied.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 2300 block, 10:50 p.m. June 14. A gunman robbed a male pedestrian of a CD player and a wallet containing cash.

U ST., 100 block, 12:02 a.m. June 11. Three males assaulted a male pedestrian and robbed him of cell phones, jewelry, a hat and a shirt.

21ST ST., 800 block, 4:10 to 4:15 p.m. June 16. A male on a bicycle robbed a male of a cell phone.

55TH ST., 700 block, 5:20 to 5:30 a.m. June 15. A gunman and a male accomplice robbed a male pedestrian of a wallet containing transit cards and bank cards.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

A ST., 1300 block, 9 to 10:30 p.m. June 11. Property was stolen from a residence.

AMES ST., 5200 block, 8 p.m. June 11 to 1 a.m. June 12. A TV was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

DIX ST., 4500 block, 12:50 to 1 p.m. June 11. Property was stolen from a residence by two females and a male. Two arrests were made.

EDGEWOOD ST., 700 block, 4:45 to 11:40 p.m. June 12. A laptop computer, a DVD player and a fax machine were stolen from a school by a male who entered by forcing a side door.

MICHIGAN AVE., 1300 block, 2 to 2:45 p.m. June 12. A TV, a DVD player and a stereo system were stolen from a residence entered by smashing a dining room window.

RITTENHOUSE ST., 1-99 block, 7 a.m. to 1:10 p.m. June 14. Jewelry was stolen from a residence by an intruder who climbed a ladder to enter through a window.

10TH ST., 3400 block, 10 p.m. June 13 to 10 a.m. June 14. Property was stolen from a residence.

19TH ST., 900 block, 5 p.m. May 16 to 7:30 p.m. June 16. TVs and air conditioners were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front window.

49TH ST., 800 block, 2 p.m. June 10 to 1:30 p.m. June 11. Lighting and fixtures were stolen from a construction site entered by removing a window.

Northwest

HOMICIDES

HARVARD ST., 1000 block, 2:50 a.m. June 12. Javelle Poindexter, 20, of the 700 block of Harvard Street NW, and Antonio Alston, 19, of the 600 block of Keefer Place NW, were found on a street with gunshot wounds. Poindexter was taken to Washington Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead. Alston was taken to Howard University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

GEORGIA AVE., 3100 block, 10 p.m. June 11 to 1 a.m. June 12. A man was involved in a sexual assault in an alley.

IRVING ST., 100 block, 2 to 2:40 a.m. June 11. A man was involved in a sexual assault in a medical facility.

PENNSYLVANIA AVE., 2400 block, 1 to 1:30 a.m. June 5. A man was involved in a sexual assault in a parking area.

RANDOLPH ST., 6 p.m. June 10. A male teenager was involved in a sexual assault in a home.

ROBBERIES

BILTMORE ST., 1800 block, 3 a.m. June 11. A man, accompanied by another man, asked two pedestrians for a cigarette, then tackled one and demanded cash. No further information was provided by police.

CATHEDRAL AVE., 2700 block, 2 to 2:05 a.m. June 10. Two men attacked a male entering a home. They took a wallet. The victim was cut.

COLUMBIA RD., 1700 block, 11 p.m. June 15. A man took property from a cash register at a supermarket and fled.

FLORIDA AVE., 1400 block, 2:15 a.m. June 12. Three male juveniles stopped a pedestrian and went through his pockets. When they found out he had no cash, one took a necklace.

GALLATIN ST., 1-99 block, 4:15 p.m. June 13. Three male teenagers approached a pedestrian. One asked for a cigarette and two showed knives. They fled with a cell phone.

GEORGIA AVE. AND QUINCY ST., 9:20 a.m. June 13. Two male teenagers pushed a pedestrian down and took a purse containing a license, a cell phone and eyeglasses.

IRVING ST., 1-99 block, 2:30 p.m. June 3. A gunman robbed two people in a parking area.

KENYON ST., 600 block, 10 p.m. June 15. Two male teenagers took a purse from the top of a stroller being pushed by a pedestrian.

L ST., 900 block, 11:25 p.m. June 12 to 1:04 a.m. June 13. A male told a pedestrian in an alley to follow him, threatening to stab him if he refused. The pedestrian followed him. No further information was provided by police.

MERIDIAN PL., 1500 block, 5 a.m. June 15. A male was involved in a robbery on the sidewalk.

NEW JERSEY AVE., 1700 block, 11:45 p.m. May 30. A man was involved in a robbery at a service station.

OGDEN ST., 1400 block, 2:20 a.m. June 12. A man attacked a male in a home, causing injuries, then took property from the male's pocket and fled.

Q ST., 2800 block, 12:20 p.m. June 11. Two male teenagers were arrested in connection with a robbery.

QUINCY ST., 1400 block, 9:50 p.m. May 17. A man took a purse from a pedestrian.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 200 block, 10 p.m. June 12. A male robbed a grocery store employee as he was closing the store, hitting him on the head.

SUMMIT PL., 1700 block, 12:40 a.m. June 10. A man grabbed a male by the neck in a parking area and pulled him to the ground while another male took property.

SWANN ST., 1500 block, 10:40 p.m. June 10. A gunman robbed two people getting into a vehicle in an alley.

WARNER ST., 400 block, 11:10 p.m. June 15. Two men were involved in a robbery on the sidewalk.

SEVENTH AND R STREETS, 1 to 1:02 p.m. June 10. Four male juveniles approached two students walking to school. One of the boys choked one pedestrian and took a necklace. Another boy punched the pedestrian and took cash.

11TH AND N STREETS, 2:45 p.m. June 12. A man robbed a male waiting for a bus. He took a wallet, then punched him.

14TH AND L STREETS, 3:15 a.m. June 11. A man robbed a pedestrian at gunpoint.

14TH ST. AND OTIS PL., 8:31 p.m. June 11. Four male teenagers approached a bicyclist. One kicked him off the bike while another hit him in the face, causing cuts. They took the bike.

14TH ST. AND OTIS PL., 9:10 p.m. June 15. A group of children threw eggs at a pedestrian, then surrounded him. One snatched a cell phone from his shirt pocket.

14TH ST., 3400 block, 12:45 a.m. June 10. A man grabbed a pedestrian by the neck while two other men searched his pockets. The three fled together with property.

14TH ST., 3700 block, 1:30 a.m. June 11. A man snatched a cell phone from a pedestrian's hand.

14TH ST., 5700 block, 9:15 p.m. June 14. A robber grabbed a pedestrian's purse and kicked the pedestrian before fleeing with the bag. A witness chased the robber, who escaped.

15TH ST., 900 block, 2 p.m. June 6. A man took property from a purse carried by a female in a restaurant.

15TH ST., 2800 block, 3:45 a.m. June 12. A male teenager threw a cup full of liquid through a car window into the driver's face. When the driver tried to use a cell phone to dial 911, the teenager tried to hit him and took the cell phone.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CHAPIN ST., 1400 block, 7:15 p.m. June 12 to 3 p.m. June 13. Two mountain bikes were taken from a building entered by prying a front door.

CHESAPEAKE ST., 3900 block, 6:39 p.m. June 12. A high school was entered by breaking a lock on a rear door leading to the women's locker room.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 1300 block, 6 p.m. June 10 to 8 a.m. June 13. A laptop computer was taken from an office building.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 1300 block, 5:40 p.m. June 14 to 8:50 a.m. June 15. A break-in occurred at an office building.

G ST., 2200 block, 4 p.m. June 11 to 7:30 a.m. June 13. Eight laptop computers and eight projectors were taken from a university office.

GRACE ST., 3200 block, 5 p.m. June 9 to 7 a.m. June 10. A computer was taken from an office building entered by smashing a second-floor window.

INGOMAR ST., 3800 block, 5:05 to 5:15 p.m. June 11. A female knocked on a door of a home to introduce herself as a new neighbor. A male answered the door and fled. The female then noticed damage had been done to the front door. She called the police. Three computers and a nylon duffel bag had been taken.

KALORAMA RD., 2200 block, 9 to 10 a.m. June 16. Property was taken from a home entered through a rear door. Two items were recovered in a rear alley.

L ST., 400 block, 3:30 p.m. June 11 to 5:30 a.m. June 13. A construction site was ransacked.

LAMONT ST., 500 block, 6:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. June 13. A boom box was taken from a home entered by breaking a rear window.

M ST., 400 block, 11 a.m. June 12 to 6 p.m. June 12. A bag was taken from a home entered by kicking a front door.

M ST., 400 block, 3 to 4 p.m. June 9. A class ring, a jewelry box containing other jewelry and a monogrammed toiletry bag were taken from a home entered by forcing a front door.

MARION ST., 1500 block, 6 p.m. June 12 to 7:15 a.m. June 13. A business was entered by smashing a second-floor window with bricks. In addition, a rear door was kicked in.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE., 1-99 block, 2 p.m. June 10 to 6 a.m. June 13. Property was taken from a construction site.

MORGAN ST., 200 block, 8:19 p.m. June 10 to 8 a.m. June 11. Property was taken from the roof of a home.

N ST., 1900 block, 10 p.m. June 14 to 7:30 a.m. June 15. Two laptop computers were taken from an office building.

NEW YORK AVE., 1-99 block, 3:30 to 3:50 p.m. June 14. A home was ransacked.

PENNSYLVANIA AVE., 600 block, 4 p.m. June 10 to noon June 12. Property was taken from an office building.

R ST., 1900 block, 2:30 p.m. June 12 to 8 p.m. June 15. A camera, a necklace, earrings and a bracelet were taken from a home.

SEDGWICK ST., 3000 block, 9:45 p.m. June 13 to 7 a.m. June 14. A bike and two TVs were taken from storage units in a home entered by forcing a side door.

WESTMINSTER ST., 900 block, 3:10 a.m. June 10. A man entered and left a home through a front window several times, carrying boxes away. A man, 43, was arrested.

WYOMING AVE., 1800 block, 2:30 to 11 a.m. June 10. Property was taken from an occupied home .

FIRST ST., 1600 block, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 10. Two air conditioners were taken from a home entered by smashing a basement window.

THIRD ST., 1900 block, 6 p.m. June 13 to 12:25 a.m. June 14. A knife set was taken from a rooming house by a male who claimed a resident had taken something from him.

FOURTH ST., 5300 block, 9:30 a.m. June 10. A male forced his way into a female acquaintance's home and beat her, causing a bruise. A male was arrested.

SIXTH ST., 1700 block, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 11. Property was taken from a home entered by prying locks on a front door.

10TH ST., 1100 block, 7:15 p.m. June 15 to 6 a.m. June 16. Copper fittings and a fax machine were taken from a construction office entered by cutting a chain on a door.

10TH ST., 1200 block, noon to 5 p.m. June 16. A videotape and toys were taken from a home entered by forcing a front door.

10TH ST., 1500 block, 10:50 p.m. June 15. A school was entered by breaking a window and the window's padlock.

11TH ST., 2600 block, 5:45 to 10:30 p.m. June 12. A computer, a digital camera and carrying cases were taken from a home entered through a second-floor bathroom window.

11TH ST., 3500 block, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. June 14. A VCR, a watch and a bracelet were taken from a home.

12TH ST., 1400 block, 10:30 p.m. June 15 to 9:30 a.m. June 16. A bike, a ladder, boxes, sunglasses and a BMW navigation system were taken from a garage, which had a malfunctioning door.

14TH ST., 4000 block, 2 to 5 p.m. June 12. An amplifier, a bass guitar and two keyboards were taken from a church entered by forcing a rear door.

18TH ST., 2400 block, 3 to 3:45 a.m. June 11. Two males broke into a home and were standing in the living room when they noticed a witness. One intruder fled down a fire escape. The other, who appeared to be drunk, stayed and said he had been in several bars.

30TH PL., 5500 block, 8:45 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. June 11. Eight camera lenses were taken from a home.

ALABAMA AVE., 1500 block, 9:32 p.m. June 10. Two males assaulted a male leaving a subway station and robbed him of a cell phone and a T-shirt.

ALABAMA AVE., 4100 block, 10:40 to 10:45 p.m. June 10. A male demanded keys from a male motorist at a service station. The driver fled without giving up property.

ATLANTIC ST., 400 block, 6:30 a.m. June 15. A gunman and a male accomplice assaulted a pedestrian and took keys.

BARNABY TER., 1300 block, 11:45 p.m. June 11. A gunman and three male accomplices robbed a male in a vehicle of keys.

BENNING RD., 4800 block, 1:30 to 1:35 a.m. June 11. Three gunmen assaulted three people sitting on steps and robbed them of cash.

GOOD HOPE RD., 2300 block, 9:30 to 9:35 p.m. June 11. A male in an elevator robbed a female of a purse containing a cell phone, a bank card and a car key.

JASPER RD., 2800 block, 3:30 p.m. June 16. A male robbed a bus passenger of a cell phone. The passenger chased the robber off the bus, then was assaulted by the robber and a male accomplice.

MELLON ST., 600 block, 5 to 5:03 p.m. June 12. A gunman and a male accomplice assaulted a male pedestrian and robbed him of a wallet.

MISSISSIPPI AVE., 2000 block, 3 a.m. June 11. Three males assaulted a male pedestrian and robbed him of a wallet.

POTOMAC AVE., 1600 block, 11:49 p.m. June 12. A male robbed a male of cash at a residence.

POTOMAC AVE., 1700 block, 10:15 a.m. June 15. A male demanded keys from a female pedestrian. The pedestrian refused, and the male fled.

SOUTHERN AVE., 2100 block, 2:20 to 2:30 a.m. June 10. A male with a knife entered a vehicle and ordered the driver to take him to another location. After reaching the destination, the driver was forced out.

NINTH PL., 3200 block, 4:30 a.m. June 11. A gunman robbed a female pedestrian of a purse containing keys.

13TH ST., 3400 block, 12:50 a.m. June 11. A male robbed a male pedestrian of jewelry.

32ND ST., 2000 block, 5:45 to 6 p.m. June 13. Three males assaulted a male cyclist and robbed him of a bicycle.

ATLANTIC ST., 1-99 block, 5:45 to 5:55 a.m. June 11. An air conditioner was stolen from a church by removing it from a window.

BROTHERS PL., 3300 block, 4 to 11:10 p.m. June 14. Clothes, a TV, a computer, a stereo and a microwave oven were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear bathroom window.

D ST., 900 block, 1:44 p.m. June 11. Two males attempted to steal a vehicle. A male, 17, was arrested.

D ST., 5000 block, 7:20 to 11:36 a.m. June 10. A video-game console was stolen from an apartment entered by prying a front door.

ELVANS RD., 2500 block, 5:30 a.m. June 13. Keys were taken from an apartment by a female who forced her way inside when a resident opened a door. The intruder assaulted a resident and damaged property.

HARTFORD ST., 2400 block, 12:36 a.m. June 13. A male forced his way into a residence and threatened a female resident. The intruder fled when police were notified.

HOWARD RD., 1300 block, 7 p.m. June 13 to 3:15 a.m. June 14. A video-game console was stolen from a residence.

KENTUCKY AVE., 500 block, 10:30 p.m. June 15 to 5:30 a.m. June 16. Property was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked window.

LIVINGSTON RD., 4500 block, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. June 14. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AVE., 3100 block, 4:15 a.m. June 15. A male attempted to enter a store by breaking a window, then fled when he was confronted by an observer.

RIDGE PL., 1300 block, 2 to 8 p.m. June 14. A handgun and a digital camera were stolen from a residence entered through a garage.

STANTON RD., 3000 block, 9 p.m. June 10 to 9 p.m. June 14. A TV was stolen from a residence.

V ST., 1400 block, 9:07 p.m. June 13. A man forced his way into a residence and threatened a resident. A man, 43, was arrested.

XENIA ST., 100 block, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. June 16. Fireworks were stolen from a residence entered by smashing a glass balcony door.

XENIA ST., 100 block, 8:30 to 11:45 a.m. June 16. DVDs, DVD players and videotapes were stolen from a residence by a male who entered by prying a balcony door.

THIRD ST., 4400 block, 3 to 10:30 p.m. June 9. A puppy, a coat and a video-game console were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

FOURTH ST., 4300 block, 4 to 11 p.m. June 15. A video-game console was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

DANBURY ST., 1-99 block, 3:20 p.m. June 11 to 2:15 a.m. June 12. A video-game system was taken from a home.

G ST., 100 block, 11:50 a.m. June 11. A woman entered a male acquaintance's apartment and hid in a hallway closet. While the acquaintance was sitting in the home, she came out and attacked him. No further information was provided by police.
