Girls' Coach of the Year

Gretchen Thompson, Forest Park

Second-year coach led the Bruins' lightweight four to a second-place finish at the Virginia Scholastic Rowing Championship, improving on its bronze-medal performance last season. The boat also reached the semifinals at the Scholastic Rowing Association of America Championship.

Katie Hadlock, Hylton, Sr. -- Quad finished first at state championships. Will attend Virginia Commonwealth.

Emily Haskell, Gar-Field, Jr. -- Lightweight four, All-Met boat of year, placed first at state championships.

Annie Hawes, Forest Park, Sr. -- Coxswain for varsity eight that finished fifth in petite final at state championships. Will attend Texas Christian.

Mandi Hickox, Potomac, Jr. -- Second four finished third at state championships.

Brooke Hollabaugh, Forest Park, Jr. -- Lightweight four finished second at state championships. Honorable mention All-Met.

Kendra Hunt, Woodbridge, Jr. -- Varsity four reached semifinals at Stotesbury and SRA national championships.

Caitlyn Raines, Hylton, Sr. -- Quad finished first at state championship meet. Repeat All-Extra will row at Coast Guard Academy.

Mollie Welty, Woodbridge, Sr. -- Varsity four reached semifinals at Stotesbury and SRA national championships. Will row at West Virginia.

Beth Zagrobelny, Gar-Field, Sr. -- Lightweight four, All-Met boat of the year, placed first at state championships. Honorable mention All-Met.
