Clarksville Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CLARKSVILLE PIKE, 12100 block, midnight to noon June 23. Sodas were stolen from a concession stand at a school entered by forcing a skylight.

DAYBREAK CIR., 6000 block, 5 p.m. June 22 to 5:30 a.m. June 23. A heavy-duty table saw was stolen from one of two construction-site trailers entered by cutting off padlocks.

TROTTER RD. S., 6500 block, 3:32 a.m. June 24. A window was broken in a modular classroom at a middle school. Nothing was reported stolen.

Columbia Area

ROBBERIES

BROOK WAY DR., 5200 block, 3:02 a.m. June 28. Four male motorists picked up a male pedestrian on Route 40 and drove him to Columbia, where three of the males assaulted him and robbed him of cash. The pedestrian attempted to escape and his hand was slammed in the door. The motorists dragged the pedestrian with the vehicle for a short distance, then fled. A police officer later saw the vehicle. A male youth and three men, one age 19, and two age 20 were arrested.

CENTRE PARK DR., 8800 block, 12:29 a.m. June 28. Two males in a gas station pulled out handguns and forced one of two clerks to open a register. One of the robbers grabbed cash and both fled the gas station, then eluded K-9 officers.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BARRINGTON CT., 5500 block, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 24. A DVD player and a video camera were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a back door.

BURGUNDY LANE, 6500 block, 2:05 p.m. June 24. A woman at a residence seeking a job from an acquaintance was asked to leave. The woman refused to leave and entered a garage laundry room and locked herself inside. The resident called police. A woman, age 42, was arrested.

CEDAR LANE, 5600 block, 9 p.m. June 22 to 9 a.m. June 23. Rescue equipment, a rescue bag containing first-aid items, and computer equipment were stolen from a neighborhood pool.

COLUMBIA 100 PARKWAY, noon to 5 p.m. June 23. A laptop computer, a video game system, video games and DVDs were stolen from a hotel room.

DAYSTAR CT., 10200 block, 10 p.m. June 24 to 2:33 a.m. June 27. Living room furniture, a computer and a TV were stolen from a residence entered through a sliding back door.

KELLS CT., 6500 block, 1 to 5 a.m. June 22. Cash, credit cards from a purse and a digital music player were stolen from residence entered through an open garage.

KILIMANJARO RD., 9400 block, 8:34 a.m. June 22. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a lock.

SOFTWATER WAY, 9800 block, 12:25 to 1:15 p.m. June 22. An attempt was made to enter three residences by forcing a front window or a front basement window.

LAMBSKIN LANE, 8900 block, 9 p.m. June 21 to 9 a.m. June 22. A neighborhood pool was entered by jumping over a surrounding fence. An attempt was made to enter a snack bar and office area by forcing a door. Nothing was reported stolen.

OAKLAND MILLS RD., 7300 block, 5:45 a.m. June 27. Maintenance employees entered a school and saw two people inside. The two fled the building after being noticed. Nothing was reported stolen.

OLD COLUMBIA RD., 8200 block, 6:30 p.m. June 21 to 7 a.m. June 22. Power tools and a generator were stolen from a storage trailer entered by breaking a lock.

OLD COLUMBIA RD., 8200 block, 6 p.m. June 24 to 6 a.m. June 25. A circular saw was stolen from one of two construction-site trailers.

PHELPS LUCK DR., 5300 block, 8:30 p.m. June 23 to 11 a.m. June 24. A cash box was stolen from a neighborhood pool office entered by force.

RUTLAND ROUND RD., 10200 block, June 16 to June 25. Two video game systems and other property were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked basement window.

SWIFT STREAM PL., 10000 block, 11:55 a.m. June 24. Electronics were stolen from a business.

WILLIAM TELL LANE, 10500 block, 12:45 to 3 p.m. June 22. Silverware and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a window.

WINGBORNE CT., 5400 block, June 22 to 7 p.m. June 24. A screened porch at a residence was entered by forcing a door. An attempt was made to enter the residence by forcing an interior door. Nothing was reported stolen.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

BERGER RD., 9200 block, 6 p.m. June 24 to 11 a.m. June 25. A white 2001 International 4700 truck was stolen.

GERWIG LANE, 9300 block, 7:42 a.m. June 27. A 1997 Chrysler van was stolen.

Elkridge Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BUSINESS PKWY., 6600 block, 5 p.m. June 21 to 7 a.m. June 22. A cash drawer was entered by force and cash and tools were stolen from a business.

SANTA BARBARA, 6700 block, 2:18 a.m. June 25. An attempt was made to enter a business by throwing a rock through a front door.

Ellicott City Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MONTGOMERY RD., 4400 block, 10 a.m. June 22. A school was entered through an unlocked window and vandalized. Nothing was reported stolen.

TALL TREES CT., 8200 block, 9:41 p.m. June 27. A residence was ransacked after it was entered by forcing a back door.

Jessup Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

WASHINGTON BLVD., 7900 block, 12:28 a.m. June 28. Three males smashed a front door glass at a restaurant with a hammer.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 8100 block, 7:43 a.m. June 27. Property was stolen from a construction-site trailer and a storage trailer entered by cutting off locks.

Laurel Area

INDECENT EXPOSURE

DURNESS ST., 9500 block, 3 to 8:30 p.m. June 22. A male in a pickup truck drove by a bus stop and exposed himself to a female waiting at the bus stop.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BLUES ALLEY, 9100 block, 4:24 p.m. June 23. A female kicked in a door at a residence of an acquaintance and took a resident's Jack Russell terrier.

BLUES ALLEY, 9100 block, 7:06 p.m. June 26. Property was stolen from an apartment entered by force.

CANTERBURY RIDING, 9500 block, 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. June 24. A video game system and video games were stolen from a residence entered possibly with a key. The residence was also ransacked.

LONG CORNER RD., 1000 block, January to 7:20 p.m. June 22. A resident discovered that a 20-gallon air-compressor was missing from a tool shed.

Savage Area

JUNCTION DR., 9000 block, 8:30 p.m. June 25 to 6:30 a.m. June 26. A business was entered through an unlocked cafeteria door. Ceiling tiles were removed from an office area.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

STORCH WOODS DR., 8500 block, 11:37 a.m. June 22. A blue 1994 Plymouth Voyager was stolen.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 9100 block, 10:38 a.m. June 27. A 1994 GMC Jimmy truck was stolen.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

UNDERWOOD RD., 1700 block, 6:30 p.m. June 22 to 7:30 a.m. June 24. Air-compressors and nail guns were stolen from a house under construction entered through an unlocked door.

West Friendship Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

FREDERICK RD., 13000 block, 7 p.m. to midnight June 23. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a back door.
