SHARKFEST! -- 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday. Activities planned to educate visitors on the shark. This annual day-long event features fossil identifications, fossil prep lab demonstrations, children's craft activities, rowboat and canoe rides, and plenty of games. Opportunities include helping to paint a shark mural, face painting, mini-fin toss and a feed-the-shark beanbag toss. CMM exhibitions include "Treasure From the Cliffs" and a skeletal reconstruction of a giant "megatooth" white shark.
