VANDALISM

ROUTE 4, 9 a.m. July 2. Skateboard ramps at Dunkirk District Park were spray-painted.

VEHICLE THEFTS

ROUTE 4, 9 a.m. July 4. A man, 25, stole a vehicle in Anne Arundel County. He was charged with motor vehicle theft and possession of marijuana.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

HOLLAND CLIFF RD., June 25. A mailbox was destroyed with a distress flare.

Lusby Area

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

H.G. TRUEMAN RD., 8:20 a.m. June 28. A golf cart was taken from the maintenance shed at Chesapeake Hills Golf Course and driven around the 13th green and into a pond.

LUSBY, 9:07 a.m. July 3. Sections of a Chesapeake Ranch Estates community garden were spray-painted, and plants were destroyed.

Owings Area

VEHICLE THEFTS

SKINNERS TURN RD., 2:10 a.m. June 28. Two men, age 20, and another man, age 19, stole a vehicle. They were stopped by police and charged with theft of a vehicle.

Prince Frederick Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ROUTE 231, noon to 7 p.m. June 26. A pellet rifle and two DeWalt drills were stolen from a vehicle parked at the Hallowing Point boat ramp.

ROUTE 231, 1 p.m. July 3 to 3 p.m. July 4. Two wallets and two cell phones were stolen from two vehicles parked at the Hallowing Point boat ramp.

SIXES RD., July 5. Tools were stolen from three Southern Maryland Cable work vehicles and two trailers.

WEST DARES BEACH RD., June 29. Pamphlets in a plastic holder at the Kin Yuk Martial Arts studio were set on fire.

VEHICLE THEFTS

CASSELL BLVD., 4:50 p.m. June 29. A 1997 silver Lincoln Continental was stolen from a driveway.

Solomons Area

ASSAULTS

ROUTE 2 AND ALEXANDER ST., 11:05 p.m. July 4. After being arrested for failure to obey a lawful order during a fight, a man, 25, assaulted a police officer. He was charged with second-degree assault and failure to obey a lawful order. Three other men, ages 21, 22 and 24, were charged with failure to obey a lawful order.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

OSPREY LANE, July 5. A concrete mixer was stolen from a construction site.

SOLOMONS, July 2. Two employees working at the Holiday Inn had their wallets stolen.

St. Leonard Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CALVERT BEACH RD., June 23. Four Pirelli tires and four Epic rims were stolen from a residence.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

OLD WASHINGTON RD., 3200 block, 9:30 p.m. July 2. A man, 30, sexually assaulted a woman, 39, after she had left the Hamilton Center II. He then forced her to drive him and his dog to Berry Road and Trumpeter Court, where he fled.

ASSAULTS

FLIER CT., 5100 block, 1:55 a.m. June 26. A man, 18, was assaulted at a residence by one or more people, who fled the scene.

SHEFFIELD CIR., 4700 block, 9:10 p.m. June 30. A man, 21, assaulted a boy, 16, with a gun and fled. He was charged with first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and possession of a handgun during the commission of a felony.

ROBBERIES

TURTLE DOVE PL., 12400 block, 2:35 a.m. July 4. A man robbed four men, ages 18, 19 and 20, of shoes, cell phones, car keys and cash at a residence.

HOLLYWOOD, June 29. A boy, 14, pointed a handgun at two other youths. He was charged with second-degree assault.

LEXINGTON PARK, July 3. A man was arrested for assaulting a woman and a girl at a residence. He was charged with two counts of second-degree assault, child abuse and disturbing the peace.

LEXINGTON PARK, July 3. A woman was arrested for assaulting a man at a residence. She was charged with second-degree assault.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

LEXINGTON PARK, July 3. A man tampered with a Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative electric meter, causing it to fall to the ground and break. He was charged with property destruction and metering tampering.

Mechanicsville Area

VEHICLE THEFT

THREE NOTCH RD., May 17. A vehicle was stolen.
