Ashburn Area

ASSAULTS

WINDING BROOK SQ., 21000 block, 11:10 p.m. June 28. A man checking on a noise outside his residence was confronted by four males. He was hit with a baseball bat, and the intruders fled. The man was taken to Inova Loudoun Hospital where he was treated.

Chantilly Area

VANDALISM

CEDAR HOLLOW DR., 25000 block, 1 to 5 a.m. June 29. A vehicle windshield was damaged, and a fender and a rear window of a second vehicle were damaged.

Leesburg Area

ASSAULTS

EDWARDS FERRY RD. NE, 800 block, 11:28 p.m. July 4. Police responded to an assault at a residence.

IDA LEE DR. NW, 1 to 100 block, 5:58 p.m. July 1. An assault at a recreational center was reported.

SHIRLEY SQ. SE, 200 block, 10:39 a.m. June 30. Stalking at a residence was reported.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CRESTWOOD AND MARLOW STREETS SW, 7:06 a.m. July 3. A power washer was stolen from a vehicle and a DeWalt miter saw was stolen from another vehicle.

EDWARDS FERRY RD. NE, 800 block, 5:19 p.m. July 6. A vehicle license plate was stolen.

KING ST. N., 800 block, 12:17 p.m. July 1. A TV was stolen from a school.

MARKET ST. E., 600 block, 9:11 p.m. July 1. Shoplifting at a service station was reported.

MARKET ST. E., 700 block, 8:38 a.m. July 2. A license plate was stolen from a motorcycle parked at a motel.

PLANTERS GROVE TERRACE AND POTOMAC STATION DRIVE, 2:27 p.m. July 4. Police responded at a house under construction after a call about a theft. Two men were removing tools and equipment from a storage container. The men tried to leave in a vehicle but were stopped by police. A 29-year-old man and a 24-year-old man, both from Manassas, were charged with possession of burglary tools and grand theft.

PLAZA ST. NE, 1 to 100 block, 7:12 p.m. July 3. A red, black and silver Mongoose bike was stolen at a convenience store.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

W & O D TRAIL AND COCHRAN MILL ROAD, 8:30 p.m. June 26 to 9:30 p.m. June 27. A Chevrolet Astro Van was stolen, and a diesel fuel tank was stolen from the flatbed of a truck.

VANDALISM

DALHART DR. SE, 100 block, 1:41 p.m. July 2. A rock was thrown at a residence, damaging a window.

EDWARDS FERRY RD. NE, 900 block, 9:27 a.m. June 30. A vehicle side-view mirror was damaged in a parking lot at a business.

Sterling Area

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

HOLBORN CT., 900 block, 10:30 p.m. June 27 to 7:30 a.m. June 28. A green 2000 Toyota Camry was stolen from a parking lot.
