Bull Run Mountain Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MOUNTAIN RD., 4100 block, 8:30 a.m. June 30 to 7 a.m. July 1. Windows, garage doors and vinyl siding were stolen from a house under construction.

Dale City Area

ROBBERIES

ASHDALE AVE., 14600 block, July 1. In a wooded area, three men punched a man and robbed him of a sports jersey.

BELVEDERE DR., 13400 block, 11 to 11:30 p.m. July 1. Three men, their faces covered by bandannas, robbed a man of cash after he got out of his vehicle.

DALE BLVD., 5300 block, 9:30 p.m. July 3. Three men robbed an employee of cash at a business.

QUALEY PL., 7300 block, 10:50 p.m. July 2. Two men robbed four pedestrians of cash at gunpoint. A Manassas man and a Woodbridge man, both 22, were arrested and charged with four counts of robbery, abduction, use of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a controlled substance.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

QUATE LANE, 13100 block, 10 a.m. July 1 to 4 p.m. July 6. A 1998 white Beck flatbed trailer was stolen.

Gainesville Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

LIBERTY RIDGE PL., 2000 block, 1 p.m. July 2 to 8 a.m. July 5. A construction trailer and field office were entered and damaged. Nothing was reported missing.

SONGSPARROW DR., 8900 block, 2 p.m. June 24 to 9 a.m. June 27. Approximately 350 pieces of plywood were stolen from a house under construction.

Manassas Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BLACK HORSE CT., 7700 block, 11:20 a.m. to midnight July 2. An attempt was made to enter a house by forcing a front door. Nothing was reported missing.

SUDLEY RD., 8300 block, 5:30 p.m. June 30 to 9:30 p.m. July 1. Fifty cell phones were stolen from storage drawers at a kiosk at a shopping mall.

WELLINGTON RD., 8400 block, 10 a.m. July 3 to 5 a.m. July 5. Aluminum siding was stolen from a construction site.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

BALLS FORD RD., 11200 block, 12:05 a.m. July 4 to 7 p.m. July 5. A trailer was stolen from a driveway.

Woodbridge Area

ASSAULTS

ALPS DR., 14500 block, 2 to 2:50 a.m. July 3. A man, 23, was beaten by five men at a party.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY. AND MARYS WAY, 12:10 p.m. July 6. A man broke the driver's side window of a vehicle at an intersection and assaulted the male driver, who was giving a ride to the assailant's female acquaintance. An Alexandria man, 50, was arrested and charged with malicious wounding and destruction of property.

ROBBERIES

BAYSIDE DR., 1400 block, 3 to 3:10 a.m. July 3. Four men spoke to a pedestrian as he walked to his apartment. They punched and kicked him, then robbed him of a wallet and a cell phone.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ALLEN DENT RD. AND JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY., 9 a.m. July 2 to 9:20 p.m. July 5. A heating and air conditioning unit was stolen from a vehicle.

OPITZ RD., 1700 block, 3 to 3:30 a.m. July 3. An ATM was taken from a bank parking lot. A backhoe stolen earlier from a Lorton construction site was used to pull the machine from its mooring.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY., 14100 block, July 2. A man said he wanted to rent a vehicle and told an employee at a rental company that he was going to obtain gas for it. The man drove away in a 2000 Isuzu box truck and never returned.

Manassas

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

ADAMS ST., unit block, 4:04 to 8:40 p.m. July 5. A man, 27, of no fixed address was arrested and charged with abduction with intent to defile, aggravated sexual battery and taking indecent liberties.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

EUCLID AVE., 8400 block, 9 p.m. July 4 to 5:30 a.m. July 5. Computer hardware and software and cash were stolen from an office entered by forcing a door.

MOSEBY CT., 300 block, 8:30 to 9:20 p.m. July 3. Stereo equipment was stolen from an unlocked 1992 Isuzu Rodeo.

VANDALISM

ENGLEWOOD CT., 8500 block, 11:59 p.m. July 3 to 7 a.m. July 5. A window of a vehicle was broken.

MATTHEW DR., 9100 block, 11 p.m. July 3 to noon July 4. A window and a door of a vehicle were damaged.
