Fun on the Farm

Montgomery County farmers host the 16th annual Farm Tour and Harvest Sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, rain or shine. Activities include hayrides and pony rides, live music and storytelling, demonstrations and farm animal petting. The King Barn Dairy "Mooseum" is just one of the stops open to the public on both days. Many of the farms will have freshly picked fruits and vegetables for sale. Waltzing in Glen Echo

Dancing in Glen Echo Park's Bumper Car Pavilion features a "mostly waltz dance potpourri" with the music of Addison Bleufonte from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Sunday, and contra and square dancing led by the Folklore Society of Greater Washington from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Sunday. If you are unfamiliar with these dance styles, a lesson in each will be offered 30 minutes before the dance sessions. Afternoon dancing, $7; evening dancing, $10. Navy Cruisers' Rock Show

Wheaton Regional Park is hosting the U.S. Navy Band's Cruisers rock ensemble at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The group performs classic rock-and-roll, rhythm and blues, and top-40 hits near the park's antique carousel. The park is at 2000 Shorefield Rd., Wheaton. Free. 202-433-2525.
